Good dryer. Cycles are a bit long. Sensor dry at times isn’t allowing items to dry when done. But better than over dry so just turn it back on

I bought this dryer to replace an older GE, when it seemed to be drying too hot no matter the selected temperature setting. This model appears to be running a little cooler(!) than I expected, and maybe I just need to learn a new set of standards for time and temperature. I bought this model after reading a very positive recommendation in Consumer Reports; also it was on sale at Best Buy and the electric company is offering a tidy rebate. But: unless you set the dryer on the LG base (extra $) or stack it with the companion washer (unnecessary and impractical for me), you really have to stoop low and deep to remove a dried load. It doesn't have an interior light, and the lint filter has a series of small pockets along the sides where tiny batches of lint accumulate. The user instructions that come with the dryer are skimpy; you have to go online to print a useful owner's manual, but beware sites that charge for this--you can print one off for free.

The electric dryer from LG is doing its job quietly and helping to accomplish are necessities in our home. We are very happy with our purchase.

It is a good size dryer, but it takes a fair amount of time to get it to very dry. So far so good.
