Venting length & Sensor issues

The sensor is VERY sensitive and the manufacturer doesnt warn you about it. Very specific requirements for venting. Distance of venting and number of turns with your vent hose make a significant difference. I have about 20’ of distance and the dryer wont finish drying clothes because its too long of a run. Constantly stops with a 80 or d90 error code. Takes 2-3 cycles (each one taking 60-90 min) for clothes to be “almost” dry. Very poor design and communication on the requirements. Unless you have a short venting run with minimal turns I can’t recommend buying this. A lot of miney wasted on a dryer that never worked properly.

Both are highly rated by Consumer Reports. This was an excellent purchase. As I mentioned in my washer review, I went with this model and saved $150 as the model above has wifi. Again, who needs wifi on a dryer? Definitely not me. With the eco-saver setting it seems to take longer to dry clothes so if I'm in a hurry, I override it and drying speeds up significantly. If you can find this pair (I dealt with supply chain issues) - get it.
