Extremely loud chimes can’t be turned off!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Admittedly I was in a bit of a hurry when buying this dryer. Normally I do a lot more research when purchasing a bigger ticket item. I owned an LG dryer previously. It performed very well over many years. I moved across state lines last month and didn’t want to take my older dryer with me. Huge mistake. I ended up buying this dryer, encouraged by high ratings, and assuming in this day and age you can turn off any chimes or alarms. Not so. This dryer plays a *very* annoying melody when the load is done. The feedback buttons and the melody are so loud you can hear them downstairs in the garage. If you try to do your laundry at night you better live alone and not have any neighbors, either. I am simply incredulous a design can be this inconsiderate. I’d love to meet the design team. They’re probably very young and only go to laundromats. They haven’t had to live with a dryer this annoying! Furthermore the drying sensor only works half of the time. Most of the time my clothes come out damp and wrinkled. LG, you have managed to wreck your brand for me. I rather like my LG washer and my *old* LG dryer. This current model is a noisemaker! I will think very carefully before buying anything LG again!

Doesn't dry well
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have this machine five months now. Wish I had went with the GE again like before. This was a little cheaper and highly reviewed by Consumer Reports. There were some negative customer reviews but bought it anyway. This "flow Sense" it has is a major fail. Must run cycle three times to finally get things dry. It stops before things are dry. Trying to be energy saving i think but doesn't do the job in the meantime.

Don’t recommend this dryer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Taller than our last front load with pedestal. We have clothing racks above washer & dryer & now they hang on top of dryer & washer. Don’t try to reheat a load that you didn’t get out on time. It is a hot mess!!! My wife does not like this dryer at all.

Energy Save is ridiculous
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The dryer had a problem from the beginning. It would only run for a short time and cut off and display a D Had to keep turning it back on....seemed to run longer on Normall medium but never on high or any other settings. I checked troubleshooting manual and it said had to do with the Energy Saver so followed instructions to turn off ES....did not work with their info. Tried several times to talk to Best Buy and only put on hold. Finally found a LG number and spoke to someone There is a list of instructions to turn off Energy Saver. If that doesn’t work then a tech will come out. Very frustrating

Choose another dryer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should have read the details on this closer. But then who expects a dryer not to have a light inside in this day and age. The literature that comes with it says it has a double sensor for detecting how dry your clothes are. I call bull. If it really did have sensors then my permanent press and delicates would not still be damp at the end of their cycle. All this dryer has is a timer to tell it when the clothes are done. Like others have posted on here (and I should have believed) I have to use the manual drying time to get my permanent press and delicates dry.

Good product, damaged yard!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Part of the product is the overall experience that I had. The washer/dryer units are great, however one of the 2 trucks that showed up for the delivery/install left a 8 foot rut in my yard from where they went off of our already oversized driveway. I asked my sales person if he xould remedy this, and he was going to check with his manager. Radio silence since. The 2 stars overall is a reflection of the overall. If this incident didnt occur, or it was remedied, this would have been 5 stars.

So Far, Not very good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this dryer once since it was installed one day ago. So far I hate it. Some of the problem is my fault. I did not realize that if a dryer is considered stackable, for ease of use, it must either be stacked or the pedestal should be purchased for it to stand on. Other wise you almost have to crawl into to reach all the clothes. I used the "Normal" option to dry the clothes. Took almost 2 hours for the clothes to dry. I didn't think the load would be too big as the load came out of an LG washer that can handle 5.5 cu feet, This dryer says in can handle 7.4 cu feet. (My old dryer used to take 20-30 minutes to dry the same size load.) I guess the dryer cannot handle "Normal". After I play around with the settings, hopefully I can reduce the drying time. I will update my review after this though that will still not help the height issue.

Not a good dryer
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dryer has given us nothing but problems. It's possible it has a bad sensor, but it consistently gives us the D90 error and I've checked all the places LG recommends. I'm sorry I cannot recommend this product and will stay away from LG in the future.

Disappointed with both LG and Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New washer and dryer installed today - installers came TWO HOURS early and I wasn't here, but my son was here and able to let them in. They were gone by the time I got home. These machines are not level. Washed a load, didn't vibrate much but makes a buzzing noise in the background. Then went to dry the load, and it's showing a "flow sense" problem, won't run and smells like burning rubber. Great. I went with Best Buy for the normally better level of installer knowledge and service, and with LG because it's always been a quality product. Now I have a load of wet laundry and a stinky laundry room and no way to wash anything over the weekend, and can't for the life of me find a simple customer service phone number to get someone here to FIX THIS. Chat lines are not a replacement for customer service people! I found a number to call if I want to return these though, and at this point it's tempting.
