    The washer is excellent.. the dryer on the other hand has really serious issues. No matter what the 'smart sense' will stop the load before it is fully dry. Even if you do quick dry, a normal cycle, set it to 'extra dry', bedding cycle, anything! We have to manually run 2 60 minute timed cycles after it shuts itself off no matter what. Even for very very small loads, it just seems not to work well. Pretty disappointed with this crucial problem in the machine.

    Bought in October 2020 with matching washer. Spring of 2022 the rollers are already shot. If I had not bought an extended warranty i would have to repair myself or pay someone. Warranty repair coming soon, will see how that goes. Not impressed with my LG appliances at this point. Engineered for planned obsolescence.

    Paid for a component I can't use

    They did not bring the correct exhaust hose for the drier. They installed the old drier hose on my new drier, I was still charged for a new hose. No joy!

    Ruined a Load of Delicates

    Just ruined a load of delicates because this machine's settings are a total fiasco. The pre-set settings are nonsense, so I use the manual dry setting only. BUT the manual dry sub-settings (Temp, Time) are so sensitive that for some reason changing the time also changes the temperature. Didn't catch this on my now ruined delicates. Everything else about this dryer is fine, but this settings catastrophe causes me to rate the dryer "poor."

    Dryer overheats

    We keep getting an "80" Code in the first 2 weeks of operation. We had the air ducts cleaned before installation and after the installation. BBuy came back out and adjusted the vents and suggested to replace the dryer with a different one.

    I can’t believe this LG dryer, brand new and works worst than my old Samsung. Tried to replace but all the other models I liked didn’t fit the area I had for it and now I’m stuck with this useless machine >(

    Returned/ The dryer will not dry your clothes on normal setting. It still dump after the cycle is over and it uses lightly warm air ( like delicate dry settings) On heavy duty it will use the hot air, but the dryer comes up extremely hot outside and warms up all entire room. The filter mesh doesn’t hold the lint,50% of that goes into the vent and will clog it so fast and might cause the fire.

    You CANNOT silence the chime on this machine. TERRIBLE....this annoying fact is not mentioned in ads or in the instructions. Deal breaker. I would NEVER have purchased if I saw this

    It doesn’t work! I’m on my 4th cycle now for drying one load of towels! I keep getting a D 90 message. Best Buy was supposed to come out yesterday. Never showed up! Now supposed to come out next week. We have bought A LOT over the years from you, but very frustrated with the results and staff

    It doesn't actually dry your clothes all the way, even if you set it to the "very dry" setting and don't put too many items in, so you'll have to get used to putting them back in the dryer. The default every saving mode leaves them very damp.

    Do Not Buy - Electrical Problem Built Into Dryer

    Stopped working after 6 weeks. Kept tripping the breaker. Luckily I purchased 5-year service protection. Called Best Buy Service and the tech new what part was most likely needed before anyone even came to the house to check the problem. This is a strong indication that this is a routine problem. This dryer is known to fail. Buyer beware.

    AWFUL - No power chord & it doesnt get things dry

    1. Will never buy from best buy again for appliances. THEY DIDNT INCLUDE THE POWER CORD OR TELL YOU TO BUY IT. I couldnt even find it on their site. I had to go to lowes. 2. This dryer takes 3 runs to dry a standard load of clothes even though its large capacity and supposedly automatic. No, no, no, again, no.

    Broke a year after purchase

    The dryer malfunctioned just about a year after I purchased it. Unfortunately, this happened just after the manufacturer's warranty expired, so now I'm just out ~$700.
