Step up to LG

Cleans my clothes much better than my Samsung front loader that I purchased 5 years ago that would need a new belt every 2 years. Put the Samsung in the graveyard and stepped up to the LG product. Much happier!!!

This one is 'smarter', most of the settings are automatic and harder to override. But, in the end it drys the clothes well...

The temperature seems accurate and after having guests not empty the lint trap, I also know the flow sense duct clogging indicator works. It runs they way it should. No problems

3 hour wash for heavy loads.

OK but not Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall not a bad dryer. after 2 yrs we had issues with not turning on and had a service repair guy come look at it and fix it thanks to buying the protection plan. I highly suggest to purchase the plan since it seems this seems to be a frequent issue.

Beware LG products - poor quality

It stopped fucntioning for no reason, today I had it looked at, and was told repairs were going to cost $500. Before this dryer, I had purchased a used Samsung for $250 which lasted us 10 years. I wanted to get another one just like it because of its reliability, but wife convinced me to purchase this LG dryer to save $100. I will never by an LG product, ever again. I am making this assessment based on the poor quality of said brand new item, compared to the quality of a used item (competitor). I feel like we were robbed. You don't believe, find out for yourselves. Sincerely, Disgruntled and lost customer.

Okay dryer

However, the sensor cycle doesn't seems to dry well. Had to time dry about 10-15 minutes more after sensor cycle.

Stopped working after only two years

Though this is supposed to allow you to diagnose the issue yourself, it actually just tells you to call maintenance. I tryed diagnosis myself and replacing the part that is supposed to have caused the problem but it's not working, I've read that i may need a new PC board so now I'm wondering if I should just buy a whole new unit of another brand

Worst Dryer I’ve Ever Owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.What an expensive disappointment. The sensor dry cycles do not usually get our clothes dry. As a result, I am forced to use the timed dry settings and this is a hassle too as you have to push the timer button for every minute past the initial setting of 20 something - So push the button 30+ times. For this we spent $1,000 and will have to endure for several more years.

Go with another retailer

Free installation = no installation and extremely rude delivery by 3rd party delivery service. Do yourself a favor and choose of of the dozen other retailers that offer free installation.

poor quality
