The dryer works extremely well and uses less electricity than the old dryer. I am enjoying the steam sanitation function to freshen outdoor pillows after cleaning. The installation was excellent and the installer answered all my questions, and even followed up on some questions with relevant information I didn’t know to ask about.

My wife likes all the great features, like smart phone apps and the way the washer and dryer communicate via WiFi. The dryer receives information from the washer so it automatically sets itself to dry the batch that was just washed. For example, it knows to expect delicates, towels, large load, small load, etc. I like how quiet it is. Our laundry room is through the wall from our bedroom. Our old washer and dryer were noisy. This one is so quiet I rarely hear it.

bought this gas dryer a few days after the washer, because my dryer decided to give out. Bought the matching dryer to my washer. It has worked perfectly every use. Does not over heat the clothes, so it drys them perfectly. the steam setting is exceptionally nice for eliminating wrinkles.

So far, so good. The dryer is different from past ones I owned. It uses intermittent forced air heating. My clothes are treated less harshly; they are softer now. I’m unsure how to use the steaming feature yet. The internet app took longer to set up than the dryer installation (ha!) but it’s convenient to see when the dryer is done by using the app. No more running downstairs to see it has 20 minutes left. Like anything else, it takes some time and experience to understand its workings. After a few loads, you get to know the settings and how to set them to your expectations. Oh, biggest surprise was the internal light feature. When doing laundry at night it’s just a minor but lovely convenience.

Works as advertised. Quick, seems to be energy efficient and hasn't shrunken any clothes yet. Easy to use.

It is a nice dryer. Two negative things so far. First, the display text is not backlit. We had to use White-Out to mark the locations of various features. (That was pretty “cheap” of LG not to install a fully backlit panel to enhance visibility.) I wish the LG engineers would consider spending another $.10 to make the text backlit as well. The second observation, which I consider as a negative, is that when the dryer is running, and it needs more heat from the gas line, you can actually hear the gash “rush” into the machine. Our previous model LG did not make the noise. Perhaps it is part of Energy Star or something. Otherwise, it is running well and doing a good job.

I love my new machine! With my family having a reliable machine is a must and this machine has met our expectations.

I purchased this dryer as a replacement for a similar model from 12+ years ago. The dryer works great, and my favorite new feature is the interior light. It helps so much when sorting and pulling items from the dryer that don't require the same dry time.

Works great and very easy to use as advertised. Would buy again if it broke tomorrow.

We had an older version and decided to upgrade and this has been a dantastic choice. The unit is quiet and efficient and barely makes a sound absolutely loving it

The setup for this product was quick. This machine works great and the little sound it plays to let you know the wash or dry is complete is great

Very quiet. Dries all types of fabrics well. However, I didn’t rate it a five star because on some loads I needed to change it from ‘normal dry’ to ‘very dry’, as it appears the sensor doesn’t accurately measure the dryness.

Overall the dryer is great. Works very well. I'm rating it an excellent, but there are two things that if improved would truly be a full excellent. First their normal setting doesn't seem to dry our clothes fully. So when we start the cycle, we have to press another button to add more time. It would be really nice if the machine would save changes as defaults. The second item is that you can download additional custom cycles for the smart app. Unfortunately it's not really custom. You can only choose cycles that LG makes available. What they should allow is for you to create your own custom cycle and download that. This would resolve my first issue.

I've had the LG Thinq for a few weeks and love the quiet wash/dry and how much clothes I can do in a load. I'm having trouble connecting them to the internet so not using at their full potential right now unfortunately. I used the help chat which was not very helpful. Either way, it works well but haven't figured out all the bells and whistles yet.

I love this dryer, it's smart, efficient and not very loud. However I wasn't pleased with the purchase confusion over my gas supply. I explained during the purchase that I used propane gas and the sales representative that helped me with the transaction said he understood that, but the unit that was delivered was not converted for propane. That meant it couldn't be installed (which I had paid for). The suggested wait time for it to be installed was four weeks, not really acceptable when your old dryer has been removed and you have daily washing to be dried. I had to go to a third party to get it converted and installed. I was able to get a refund for the non installation but not for the gas hose kit which didn't fit and cost $40. Love the dryer though.

19 year old Washing machine died. It would cost to much to repair then to buy new one, so we bought a new set the larger capacity is nice to have with a big family. Both have been used everyday since it was installed and it’s very easy to use and works great.

I purchased the gas and dryer set. Every easy to use, LOVE the steam dry option. With many options to chose from it makes it easy to dry clothes without trying to figure out the standard settings.

This dryer is the style I wanted. It gets the clothes dry faster and it is very easy to clean the filter. It holds a lot of clothes and the door opens the way I have always wanted.
