It is a great dryer. But you uave to be patient. If doing a ton of drying every day you won’t like it but if you do one a day or so it is fine. Having no exhaust to deal with it is nice.

Runnnnnnn! We've had a technician come to repair the drain pump 6x and still nothing. If you can go ducted, do so. This has been a pain

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Dryer (DLHC5502B) model. We understand how important it is for your appliance to work reliably, and we appreciate your patience through multiple service visits. If the drain pump issue persists, we recommend checking for any visible obstructions in the lint filter and drain hose and ensuring the unit is installed on a level surface. These steps can help improve drainage performance. I have had this for 4 months now and am still totally in love. I truly works like a charm. I love the connected features (matches the washing mode on my dryer by default) and you can even change the welcome screen and end of load music signal via software updates. I love how little energy it uses, and the average drying time is only about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Bonus... it's ventless! No complaints whatsoever. Stacked it above my washer and it rules.

This is an excellent dryer. I bought a new house last year with a very long and very elbowed vent duct. My old LG couldn't properly vent and kept erroring, and a booster fan I installed stopped working randomly one weekend. I was a little skeptical of switching to ventless, but needed to since my home duct is just too long.
I am very pleased with this LG. It gets my clothes completely dry in the same amount of time (and sometimes less time) as my old dryer. Granted I am coming from a poor ventilation system so shorter for me might not be shorter for everyone depending on how fast your old dryer was.
This gets all the laundry for my house of 4 done in a single day without issue. The clothes are perfectly dry - not even a bit of dampness. Even jeans - which used to always have a few damp spots - are completely dry.
Operation is simple, the settings are intuitive, and you can control via an app.
The only negative is that the laundry room heats up quite a bit while this is running. Turning on the laundry room vent fan takes care of the issue, and extra heat in the winter will be a welcome bonus.
