I bought an open box. It was fine. I figured out that it probably was returned because it's output was only composite. I had an adapter cable to use it. Good value and small size made it fine under the TV

This is about as cheap of a DVD player as you can get from a namebrand company in 2020. With that being said, it is a reasonably decent unit for the price and the record to usb feature is actually kind of handy.

I haven't had it long, so, for now, all I can say is it is working properly. I am not happy with the instruction pamphlet that came with it. It's a series of basic pictures/diagrams, instead of text. I guess they are trying to save money on language translations. There are buttons on the remote that I'm going to have to figure out for myself.

This DVD is very easy to use. I’m a senior and appreciate devices that don’t frustrate me. I’m listening to music I love and also look forward to get more moves to play.

A DVD player that doesn't have a lot of bells & whistles, I.e., doesn't play Blu-ray disks, but does everything it promises. I appreciate that better than being promised the moon & only getting one-fifth there. I'll watch hundreds of movies on this for the price of going to the theater once!

Its a nice little, old tech, DVD player. Simple and very good price. I love it. It was just what I was looking for. I hope Best Buy continues to keep them in stock..

This DVD player has a great picture along with good sound quality. I bought it to play my home video's on in order to plug it into my DVD recorder so that I could make home video's for my family who live out of state. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and it had a low price also!

After buying a 50 tv for my garage,i was looking for a Dvd player. I looked at the selection Best Buy had and other products,and was looking for a brand name Dvd player that was simple,descent,and a good one. This LG Dvd player fit my cause.

This unit works excellant for playing dvd discs. It really shines with usb port. I have my music collection (mp3) on a flash drive. Now I can run it through my stereo receiver. It also plays video files (mpeg). But not mp4's. Overall I'm impressed with the quality of this player.

I was looking for the cheapest dvd player I could find. Didn't need any bells and whistles. I just needed a way to check dvds made from a dvd burner. This is that. Simple to set up. Simple to connect. Simple to use.

Very easy setup. I purchased it for a Senior friend of mine whose tv does not have any HDMI inputs. Works very well. Low profile design. Will fit in about any location. It does not have any physical display on the player itself. It's all OSD-On Screen Display.

The device provides average functionality, it doesn't include a midi port for ultra or HD connection which was disappointing! The price however was very affordable and it fulfilled our personal purpose!

You may over look this but keep in mind this has no HDMI connection. This didn’t really matter to me when I realized it because I’m just using it for workout videos in the garage. So for what I use this for it is absolutely perfect.

If you know how to color in a coloring book, then you know how to hook this up. It’s easy. I didn’t even look at the user manual. Why would I? Is there a user manual for coloring books?? NO, there is not. Then you don’t need one to hook this up. It’s too easy.

This DVD player does not have unneeded extras and will do what is claims to do. We use it only for playing DVDs and it works well with our TV without requiring any cable or internet connections. We were happy with the lower price for a basic machine.

This DVD/CD player successfully plays CDs I burn as well as store bought CDs. In addition, you can insert a thumb drive with MP3 music and play from that as well. When playing music, you can turn on the hooked up TV and see the listing of tunes and the one being played.

No bells, no whistles, just works. I neded something to add to my console stereo unit to play cds when I get tired of changing records. Works like a charm and cost very little. I really don't see how you could go wrong. Highly recommended.

I had one for our bedroom and itI worked so well to display our DVD movies on our TV that I bought 3 more to take to our house and two condos in Mexico. Works with AV cable so can be used on old TV's. The price was quite reasonable too. Can't go wrong.

LG DVD player is great. I had an old one before last me 8+ years. I accidentally dropped it and broke so I had to buy a new one, I definitely made sure it was the same DVD player so it can last me another 8 years. I recommend it.

I was looking to replace my 10 year old system, and I had to think of space. The system proposed and demoed were excellent. The sales guy recommended I come back in a couple of days, because there was going to be a sale. It all worked out and the sound is great.
