We love how quickly this runs and how well it supplements our main washer. We are able to run, say, a load of whites in the main washer and a couple pairs of slacks in this pedestal washer simultaneously, then throw both loads in the dryer at the same time. Super helpful and it washes very quickly.

Love the extra washer that can sit below the main unit. It's similar to the double oven in the kitchen. No more having to wait to wash out a shirt because someone else is washing something on sanitary setting and it still has over an hour to go. This little washer gets clothes clean and is a real convenience. Would highly recommend spending the few extra dollars to add this. Love it.

I am so happy about purchasing this piece to the washer! It comes in handy when you don’t have a huge load to wash! Just the other day I had to wash the mop part from my steamer, just throw it in and BAM! All my friends want one now!

common challenge is gym clothes and socks. I usually run out, and its not enough to justify a load of laundry. The Sidekick is the perfect solution. It does exactly what I need and have had no issues. Great use for a pedestal.

Great for small loads. I've noticed that I wear more dark clothes than whites. Able to get those small loads done quickly without having to "hold on" to them until you have a larger load.

We love having the ability to do a small load when needed or have 2 loads going at the same time. It does actually have warm and cold (had read that it only washed on cold). Seems to do a good job with sweat on athletic and golf wear. Haven't really tested its ability to handle stained/very dirty gear.

When purbhaseding an LG front-load washer to replace recalled Samsung top-loader, we learned of the SideKick option for the LG washer we were looking at. Ended up with the washer and the SideKick. My wife loves both. Uses the SideKick often for small or delicate loads that would have been done by hand or waited for a load large enough to warrant using the regular washer.

I wasn’t sure about paying extra for another washer since I had bought the new LG front load washer. I’m so glad I got the sidekick!! This way if I have a small load but may not need softener, I can wash the small load at the same time and then put the small load in the dryer with the regular load from the big washer. I’m truly thrilled with this purchase!

This unit is a dream come true for making laundry more flexible. In a busy family, there are times when a small washer is a great asset to throw in delicates or work shirts when the larger washer is busy. I like it for washing delicate work clothes that are then hung to dry. Also acts as a pedestal under the primary washer to give it height. Love it.

Good for small loads or things that you want to keep separate, like whites, kids' sports outfits, etc. One downside is that it can't be operated at the same time as the main washer without interrupting the distribution of water to it. So if you're thinking about getting this to do 1.5 loads simultaneously, forget about it. You'd be better off getting a larger front-loading washer with a sensing feature that can adjust to small loads when that's all you need. .

Love this little guy. Near-silent, and washes well. We have a toddler potty training and it’s great for small loads from accidents. Also great for active wear and our newborn’s clothes.

My wife wanted a washer with hand wash, but the additional cost for a washer with that feature simply didn't make sense. We decided to buy an inexpensive washer and also this Sidekick because of its hand wash feature as well as the ability to wash two loads simultaneously. We couldn't be happier with its performance. The clothes come out smelling and looking great. What used to take my wife half a day is now only a matter of several hours. It does not disappoint.

Open everything! I didn't find the connection kit until after several trips to the hardware store and many bad wishes to Samsung because of the difficulty in finding a way to hook up 2 washers to 1 hot and cold faucet. But the corrrct connections were there in the washer the whole time. *eye rolling* It's great for those small loads!

Wrong unit included in the package we ordered

Buyer beware that Best Buy online is incorrectly including this 27 inch model in a package deal with the 5.2 cubic foot washer and 9 cubic foot dryer. The installers came today and discovered the problem during setup, so now we have to wait for the correct 29 inch model to arrive.

This works well, but I am not using it as much as I thought I would. It is great for delicates so I end up using it for that. The regular washer is so great and only uses the minimum amount of water needed so I don't find it necessary to do small loads in the sideKick, I just use the regular washer. So, I don't think it's completely necessary to get the sidekick, but it is nice for delicate items.
