Game is an absolute masterpiece! Best souls game I played that isn’t made by FromSoftware! Beautiful graphics, great performance, the soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks I’ve ever heard for a video game, story is great and easy to understand, and bosses/enemy have a huge variety!

Games like this come and go all the time now but this one is something special similar in gameplay to Bloodborne if I had to make a direct comparison, It was fun from start to finish and I always wanted to keep playing and not often do I have a hard time putting down a game these days. Recommend to anyone looking for a challenging fun experience who is a fan of the genre.

I’ve honestly been loving this game so much and it may even be in my top 5 games ever. I love souls games and this is the perfect soulslike that I needed and will definitely get the platinum for it. Shipped very fast and was packaged great.

I love Soulsborne games so I had to take this one, I’ve always been a fan of the Pinocchio story and mixing it up with the Soulsborne style was an excellent idea

I've been following this game since its surprise announcement a few years back. Immediately, the atmosphere caught my attention; it oozed personality in a way most Soulslike failed to do. After years of anticipation, I'm happy to report it was worth the wait. The combat is exciting, responsive, and visceral; the level deisgn is fascinating and intuitive (something most Soulslike fail at), the bosses are mostly memorable and challenging, emulating that FromSoftware charm to nesr perfection. If someone had just handed me this game and told me it was a surprise release from FromSoft, I would have believed them. Easy GOTY contender.

I already played it digitally but I wanted to get the physical dics as well. It's my first time playing a third person souls game. I had so much fun. I am now at nameless puppet NG+, I can't get enough of this game. Love the soundtrack, atmosphere, gameplay, and story. Highly recommend it!!

A very high quality Soulslike, one of the best in it's genre, though in it's attempt to bring the best Fromsoft has offered it also brings along many of it's shortcomings. Some of the most satisfying gameplay of any game attempting to mimic Fromsoft's style, and incredibly well done art design, world, and atmosphere, but it's approach to difficulty could be seen as unfair or too punishing, even for genre veterans.

I love the Soulsbourne astetic and gameplay can be engaging. It’s definitely a difficult game at times, but much easier to handle than Elden Ring or Armored Core 6. The story is definitely interesting to get emerced in and the bosses are very stylized and interesting to confront. A must have if you’re a Soulsbourne enthusiast.

This game is one of the best of the year. Stunning visuals, intricate storytelling, and impactful decision-making are at the forefront. The blocking and dodging can be hard to juggle at first, but once you get it down, the combat flows together so smoothly. The bosses are great, and the world-building is phenomenal. This game is fun, but it is very difficult. I would say this game is one of the toughest Soulslike games. I would even say it’s close in difficulty with Bloodborne and maybe even Sekiro. Overall, it’s a very challenging but rewarding experience.

Great all around, ambiance, music, gameplay, story, it checks all the boxes if you're looking for a soulslike that is not as brutal (though a few bosses can give you some headaches) some of the others.

My new favorite souls/like - great fluid combat, more story than i expected (and a good one too) but never intrusive and totally skippable if you just wanna swing swords around like a maniac! (a must have an a souls game, if you ask me)

I legit almost returned the game because I just couldn't get the hang of it for being my first soulslike game. But let me tell you when I say I got hooked, I GOT HOOKED. I couldn't put this game this game down once I started to understand it more and more. Combat is so much fun, and the story and characters are great! I'll say it is one of my favorites games to date.

It's no secret that Lies of P gets its inspiration from Fromsoftware games. Theres a bit of the parry system, as well as prosthetic arm weapons from Sekiro. Some of the gothic/ victorian/ steam punk art direction and atmosphere of Bloodborne. Weapon scaling, item discovery, and NPC interaction is all very similar to how all Fromsoftware games generally work.
If you're familiar with those games, you'll feel right at home. If not, I would recommend watching/ reading some tutorials. There is a fairly steep learning curve to all of the systems the game utilizes.
Graphics and framerate are excellent, and feel like a proper current gen game ( I own the PS5 version )
Art direction is absolutely gorgeous. A mix of early industrial revolution, steampunk, gothic, and victorian era themes.
Gameplay feels appropriately weighty. Not as fast paced as a game like Bloodborne or Sekiro, but not as slow and methodical as a game like Dark Souls 1.
Difficulty: Mileage may vary for everyone. I found the game to be challenging, but not soul crushingly difficult.
The story is also pretty interesting ( I havent finished the game ). It takes some themes and characters of the classic story of Pinocchio, and fits it into the mold of a Fromsoft style of story telling. NPCs coversations and item descriptions are how you'll put most of the story together.
Overall, im very impressed with "Lies of P", and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, yet challenging Action RPG.
