No need in additional switch or something like that to work. Perfectly pairs with Amazon Echo Dot. But at first it was really hard to connect it to the app. After about 3-4 hours it finally worked.

These are just awesome. You can make any color you can dream of and save it too. Make them brighter, dimmer, change automatically and what else is there to say; AWESOME.

I am new to home automation, and this light was a great way to start. It synced up with my Amazon Echo, and Samsung Smarrtthings with no problems. I can control it with my voice, and my kids love that!

I had Philips Hue for years, spend many hundreds of dollars on it. LIFX however is much much brighter. Will be sticking with LIFX from now on.

If you are wanting automated lighting with easy setup these are you bulbs. Very flexible and reliable. No hub or gateway required for amazon, google, and Apple.

Ok it is a 40$ bulb , but no hub required and works directly with Amazon Alexa ! It’s color range is great and the different brightness settings fit any mode!

Love these bulbs. Have this in my basement laundry room. Great when you have your hands full and can just ask for the light to be turned on.

I like these because they are brighter than Hue bulbs and are about the same price. I have a mixed household but control everything through google home hub devices.

I bought this bulb thinking that it could be set up in my family room lamp and interface with my Amazon Echo. I wanted to ask Alexa to turn the lamp on and off and wanted to ask her to change the colors emitted. I just couldn’t get Alexa to control the bulb directly and had to buy a Wemo smart switch to do so. I can now turn the lamp on and off by asking Alexa. However I’m still unable to control the colors through Alexa and can only do so from my phone app. The colors are truly amazing and I’m enjoying the selection. It’s a nice product but I would have liked to control the light directly through Alexa.

I have other Lifx bulbs and this one was also reliable from start. Very rare I encountered problems with connectivity and the app is also very good.

Lifx bulb was easy to set up and works great. I own several of their products and have never had an issue over the years. Premium product

This light is better than bluetooth lights because you can turn it on from anywhere in the world. Brightest smart ligth I've ever tried.

This is the fifth Lifx I've purchased. Goes great with my Amazon echo addiction. Once I learned the right phrases to control groups of lights or just one at a time I really love them. Colors are fun. Hopefully the price will drop...a bit pricey.

I am giving this bulb a 2 star for the reason that for a75W 1100 luminess bulb it is far from bright white or Daylight. At best a warm white with a light strength appearance of 600 luminess. Installing the app: was easy and worked with Echo dot or Show Phillips Smart Light bulbs are actually easier in the app and are with 800 lumines brighter than this bulb . Also this bulb gets pretty warm to my surprise vs the Philips We returned the LIFX bulb not worth the Price

I love it! Very bright and colorful, the app you must download is easy to use and so many options to adjust brightness, color and pattern, even stuff for upcoming holidays.

If your getting in the the smart home Devices and I would definitely recommend this lightbulb is bright and easy to use
