    I have tried these and the Phillips hue and these are by far the better in my opinion. The setup is easier, the cost is much better, and it just felt easier to operate.

    This light is better than bluetooth lights because you can turn it on from anywhere in the world. Brightest smart ligth I've ever tried.

    Very happy once I got it up and going. Forget HomeKit. Still has its issues. Stick to the Lifx app and everything is great.

    I love my LIFX bulb, moreso than any smart bulb on the market. Easy-to-use app, no need for a bridge or base, and works off WiFi. Now THIS is worthy of being a SMART home device.

    Made my life easier. Turning on and off the lamp in the living room was kinda tricky. Now I can do it with no problem. Even turn it off and on from work sometime.

    having LOTS of fun with this add on for change to "smart" home. works with alexa, can change color and dim a light that does not have that at the switch! LOVE LOVE this.

    Bought a set of these bulbs awhile back to try them out, now I'm starting to add more to the setup. They work just as good as the Philips Hue and the colors are a bit brighter.

    Do I need a $45 light bulb that changes colors? - NO Do I love my LifX bulb? - YES!!! This is perhaps the most direct example of a discretionary purchase I have ever made. Something I don't need but am thrilled to have regardless of the price. I have the bulb connected to my Google Home so I can control it with simple voice commands "Ok Google, turn on the light" or "Ok Google, change the light to blue" ... there are many commands to make the bulb do what you want and it's very convenient. I do plan on buying another one next time they're on sale.. just not sure what I'm going to do with it yet... LOL
