The lights and app work well You can also use them with Alexa. It’s fun that you can change the colors and themes (not that I use those features very much), but the bulbs are a little expensive. If you are just looking for a white smart bulb, the TP link bulbs are about 1/2 the price and also work well with Alexa (and neither brand needs a “bridge” like the Philips ones). Have had the both brands for over a year and haven’t had any problems whatsoever (except kids or inlaws switching them off by accident and sometimes having to reprogram them as a result).

The bulb has great color and is nice and bright. However, I'm having connection issues daily, even though the Wi-Fi router is in the same room. It seems that I have reset the bulb every other week for it to work for a day then back to losing connection.

Absolutely love these lightbulbs! I recently remodeled my home and needed lightbulbs for my pendant over my kitchen island. I wanted to voice-enable my home as much as possible. These lightbulbs are fantastic. Set up was a breeze, and the level of control for dimming the bulbs, changing colors, and connecting to Alexa and Siri was easy. Great quality, premium product. I ended up purchasing additional mini bulbs for lamps throughout my home.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bulb! It's my second smart bulb. I was introduced to and received my first one as a gift from my significant other and at first I was skeptical, but once I set it up and started using, I was hooked! I love the range of colors (so saturated) and adjust according to my mood or what I'm doing and that it doesn't require a hub! My mom recently won a Google mini and I can't wait to buy her a few bulbs and set up for her. I will more thank likely purchase a third bulb. Great product!

This is the future of bulb technology, a true lumination marvel. Screwed in the bulb, downloaded the app, connected the bulb to my wireless and finally informed Alexa about the new skill and my room was transformed into a visual wonder. Every app, every component worked flawlessly. I am amazed with the simplicity of this technology and the Alexa interface. A true marvel. Adding a second unit was a snap. Good job guys on really making this simple. No hubs to connect just as simple as replacing a light bulb.

does not need any additional hub, glows very bright, also has an app that has so many options - light frequency, themes and auto on schedules! Very pleased with the product.

I love these lights. Admittedly, it took me a little while to get them set up, but the colors are amazing! These are way better than the Philips Hue bulbs. Another thing I like is that they are controllable by the Alexa. Since, my initial purchase, I have bought several more. I think the only downside to these bulbs is that they are pretty expensive; however, I am confident that they will last a long time.

overall nice light, way deeper colors than my lightify (Sylvania) bulbs. these are to expensive at regular price in my opinion, I have 3 and only by when on sale.

It is great smart bulb. I might still recommend Phillips Hue instead, but it is still good. It is one of the brighter and more vibrant smart bulbs. It is a pain to setup, and it sometimes looses connection.

Overall this light is very bright and works as intended. The app is user-friendly and not having a hub is very convenient.I would've rated this product a five star but once in a while they loose connection and I have a very strong signal. However when you pair this with other apps (IFTTT) it is simply amazing. These lights wake me up in the morning as the sun comes up and turned themselves off as I leave the house. They are a bit expensive but if you just need a couple of bulbs it's well worth it .

Lots of colors and it's very bright. The app to control it is pretty good and I was able to set it up with Google assistant to control the light with my voice

This light DEFINITELY out shines (yeah, that is an intentional pun) the Philip's Hue bulb!! The colors are more vibrant, set up is easy, it DOES work with Alexa (just like Hue - though some Hue fanatics says it doesn't). Extra bonus: MUCH cheaper than Hue & you do not need a Hub!! A great buy!!

We already have 2 of these lights in use so the newest one I have purchased will add on nicely. These LIFX bulbs can put out A LOT of light (1100 lumens). I actually had to turn down the intensity from 100% because it was much too bright for the kitchen area they are in. I was also able to dial in the color to match some other CFL bulbs in 2 nearby light fixtures. During our new year's party we changed the colors to reflect the mood of the party, which was a lot of fun. These bulbs are expensive - no doubt, but the App that controls them adds value that you don't have to pay extra for. I enjoyed playing with the app to change the color/brightness of the light for a good half hour when we first got them. The app lets you group lights so they act as a single source and the controls are easy enough that a regular App user should be able to figure things out. If the App wasn't included or the lights just stayed white and were not controllable then the price would be exorbitant, but for the added ability to control the lighting precisely I feel that while they are expensive they are a worthwhile purchase. You will need to hook them up to your wi-fi network so your device can talk to them. I didn't have any real problems connecting them to wi-fi, but waiting for updates to load can seem like forever when you just want to turn on a light.

This is a very nice WiFi controlled bulb with excellent brightness, very saturated and pure colors, and a stable app to set it up. Setup is a breeze, literally, just follow onscreen instructions from the app. Integrates smoothly with Alexa, does require a skill, but a very simple one. Overall very pleased!

LIFX is hands down is the smart bulb to buy, its brighter, colors are more vivid, not needing any additional hubs or devices, ease of set up
