    It is about a 40W equivalent when it is at white maximum. Some of those colors could hurt you eyes like blue/red/green. The base of the bulb is also very hot after just a short period of time.

    This bulb seems to respond a little better than the 1st or 2nd generation bulbs. It gives off nice bright color vs Hue bulb and needs no hub to connect.
