    So far so good, though I would highly recommend using at least two bulbs in a room to diffuse some colors (even a different or non-LIFX bulb will do). A single color is often too harsh, regardless of the brightness level. Also based on that, I would not recommend these for open table lamps or open-faced floor lamps below eye-level. I would use the mini's for that.

    I bought the bulb to connect with my Echo, which already turns my bedroom lamp on and off. What this bulb adds is the ability to brighten or dim the light with voice command. In addition, the color choices add a certain amount of ambiance. That said, who really needs such a palate of colors; but, if you do, it delivers a multitude of choices. What I don't like is that in the short time I have had the bulb, I have had to "reboot" it several times, hence the 4 rating. With that caveat, I would recommend it at least for the brighten/dim functionality.
