Great lights. They have dedicated Day and Dusk colors, but you also have a color wheel to choose any color you could imagine. The special effects are also a nice touch. Definitely worth the price and they connect to Alexa, Siri, or Google voice assistants.

I love these lights so much!!! They can do really awesome things and you can really have lights for WHATEVER you're in the mood for! I wasn't able to set it up through my Android phone though. My brother had to set it up using his iPhone and I manage it by logging in under his name on my Android. I emailed tech support but they never responded, except for more pre-determined cyber suggestions. I also constantly have to log out and log back in because the lights are "offline" when I open my app in the morning, or after leaving my apartment and coming back. Probably works perfect if you have an iPhone though.

Other than installation hiccups, the lights are great. Sometimes it takes two or three times to properly set up to wifi. There is the occasional glitch in the app as well, but I highly recommend these to anyone looking for good mood lighting.

I really like the strip and what it can do with the lifx app. However, the sticky portion doesn't really work well on the wall, so you'll most likely have to figure out a better way to stick it to whatever surface you plan on using.

I am a huge fan of technology and whole home automation so when I had the chance to purchase these LIFX lightstrips to add to my newly remodeled basement I jumped at it. I'm able to create different moods with the light colors that are fantastic. Way better than Phillips Hue.

I connected this through HomeKit. Work is really fine with an apple app. It’s fun to look at how it reacts on music using an intrinsic microphone. Only one con is that it does require to be on the same network as the phone thru home hub. Unlike my other smart devices such as lamps.

I like this better than hue for the simplicity. I also find the tape attachment for durable. I also like the color rendering better. I just think the hue app adds a bit more flexibility, not a huge amount though.

Mostly flawless. A little patience and their tech support was very responsive. Once they were synced and running pretty much flawless. And so much nicer and more flexible than my Hue.

These lights are amazing, definitely beats Hue by a long shot. The one thing to consider is that you can not have a extension of more than 3 feet on these. If you do the other led strip will not work

Bought these for my MIL for her birthday. We have the Philips hue and we definitely wish we would have bought these. They're harder to get set up but theres a ton more options for what you can do with these versus the hue. Definitely recommend.

These things are awesome!! I have the LifX Z strip behind my tv (13ft) and also behind recessed crown molding. I also have two LifX BR30 floodlights over my bar area. I can literally turn my man cave into a night club. The app connects everything flawlessly.

Awesome value for the price, I stuck the light strip behind a TV that’s mounted on a wall, and it provides an ambiance of lighting in my living room like no other, definitely highly recommend!

Best light strips in the market, the app in so customizable and easy to use it takes it to the next level without a doubt. If you’re on the fence, spend the extra money, you’ll thank yourself later.

I bought these lights for my son for Christmas, he loves them. The corners of the lights are hard to stick on the wall. I like that it has a remote!!

Works great when they’re connected to the WiFi. Unfortunately they disconnect almost every day. I have to manually reconnect them daily

Picked this set up to mount behind my entertainment center. Provides great ambient lighting and interacts nicely with Google Home and Logitech Harmony. Best Buy version seems to be exclusive with additional 1M of lights compared to the standard set.

These LIFX lights are great but the only issues I have is that they do not stick well. I highly recommend throuroughly cleaning the surface that you attach them to beforehand.

The Lifx Z is a competent addition to their line-up and provides a fun alternative for smart lighting. However, it is very fragile, so put it up and leave it there.

I like the customization with these lights and the integration with apple homekit. However, I don't like how it uses up my phone's battery when I use an effect with the light.
