I purchased this LIFX Z Wi-Fi Light strip Experience Kit 9.8' - Multicolor for my daughter she was so excited to hang them up in her room and when we did they would never connect to the app they would just blink a few different colors. I tried everything to get the lights to work and they never did . As well as contact LIFX Support. And I got no where. She was very disappointed.

The connectivity of these kits are very spotty. I have three of these, and have not issues with one of the kits. The other two rarely stay connected to my network. When I tried to reach out for support, I didn't get a response for over a month. To this day, months later, I still have not been able to get any assistance from LIFX. I regret spending so much for lights that don't even work.

The lights only worked for one day. The wifi no longer connects to it. Message boards show this is a very common issue and most fixes don’t work. My daughter fell in love with the lights when we set them up and now is extremely disappointed. I felt good about the lights when I purchased them because it was marked as an exclusive Best Buy product.

Something about this product is very buggy-either the app or the string. I successfully hooked it up to the app. It has always had a very laggy color change response. It dropped out of connection frequently and didn't always take the inputs while still connected. I am very disappointed . After needing to reset it and reconnect it to the app a few times, I have given up. It is a static color now.

These lights didn’t come with everything needed to get them working it would’ve been nice to buy the full package instead of having to run back and forth

Seemed to not work very well. sometimes it was fine and other times it could not find the hardware in the app. returned items.

Depending on your luck, you may get a bad batch. One of the controller could never locate my Wifi when setting up. When I was lucky enough to get it connected, it would drop off the Network at random times. Product is great when it works but you're only as good as your worst.

Control module went in to a unrecoverable mode. Had to look at blogs/forums to figure out what was going on. Couldn't recover. Safe Mode feature needs to be easier to recover from and the feature needs to be more apparent. Looks quality App is ok

Three segments contained inside, approximate 1m each. It has display issues even just twisted a little bit. I reset several times and it just doesn't work as expected. Though, good to know it supports applHomekit, Amazonalex and googleHome.

It worked when I plugged it in but when I finally put it up on my wall, it didn’t work and now it’s nonreturnable because it’s past the return date!! Ugh!! Don’t buy this!!
