Just plug it in, install & sync. Lifx lights are quality.

Setup was fine. Love the colors and options in the app. But after about 30 days, it lost it’s connection to WiFi and I’ve been resetting it every week. Otherwise, love using it through Alexa, Siri, and it’s own app.

The lights are amazing, best quality around and the app is very nice as well. Would have given 5 stars if not for the adhesive, highly recommend not using the adhesive and just mounting with command strips.

Personally I love all the LIFX products. The majority of my house is white, have these lights, I can change the mood inside to my liking. Installed these into my entertainment center and what a great experience watching TV at night.

This light strip, which the length is exclusive to Best Buy, is a neat addition to smart lighting. It is brighter than the Hue and the app options are more plentiful. One standout option is to be able to add different colors within the strip at the same time.

The light strip is very bright and it's amazingly convenient that it doesn't require a hub. Definitely better than the Hue which not only needs a hub, but can only light up as one uniform color. However, I had received a damaged unit and after returning, Best Buy was out of stock and I would need to spend at least $30 more to part out the same setup. That's when I found the Govee light strip - priced at $30 for over 16 feet. They're about 20% less bright, but for less than 1/3 of the price, it's hard to beat.

Put them around the desk. Great for across the room I can just use them as a night light or a back light. And I can just use my phone to change colors or brightness.

Installed 3 sets of these in various places in the house and have received a lot of complements on how great the effect looks. Also, like that Alex can control them with my voice, including giving a % brightness command

I bought two Phillips Hue light strips before I decided to try out LIFX’s offering and wow. The lights are brighter and more vibrant and the strip can be multiple colors at once. The Phillips strips can only do one color at a time. I LOVE these strips.

These lights are also everybody makes a big deal out of Phillips hue but LIFX out does Phillips use all day long they are brighter you can change the colors in between do you have a multiple color strips of just solid color strip excellent product

Of all the brands I’ve reviewed, LIFZX has the best in terms of color vibrancy, brightness, and customization. Set up and software can be a bit buggy, but overall it’s well worth it.

Super easy setup...no hub needed, easy to use app and countless colors, depending on your mood. I have set up scenes and pairs well with Alexa. If you are looking to add some warmth, color or need your house to turn into a party - start here.

I am TOTALLY in love with this thing. I attached it to the back of my 85' TV and it looks amazing. Everyone that comes over tries to stick their head between the TV and the wall to see what it is. There are lots of modes and endless colors. 10 stars!

This light-strip is great to put it behind your desk, and its very bright. It also supports Razer Chroma, so if you have some Razer stuff that supports Razer Chroma, they gonna go very well with each other

I have this behind my 55inch tv and synced then to my living room lamp with LifxA19 mini multi color and its a completely new living room to me. highly recommend works great with apple home kit

This was a Christmas present for my son. Setup was easy, and he has been having a fun time adjusting the colors. He uses Alexa to turn on and off, and adjust the colors.

The lights are very bright and they're good quality, but the strip itself is prone to tearing of you're not careful. Be extra cautious of bending the strip around corners. While the product itself is good, the software is absolutely terrible. The UI is counter-intuitive and the app is buggy. This alone was enough to justify a return. I ended up spending twice as much with Philips Hue but I am happy with the outcome. Philips is expensive but you get what you pay for.

I placed these under my platform bed and I love the effect it gives to the room! I debated LIFX over Philips Hue for quite some time and I'm pleased with my decision to go this route.

I got this for my girlfriend and it looks wonderful, the colors are amazing, and the different color combinations are truly something to be awed by. Also till this day she hasnt really turned them off, still working great. The problem that she keeps having with it is with the app, it's very finicky. It doesn't connect to the lights properly. which can be frustrating when you want to change the colors or even turn it off.

Took some time to sync properly since I had more than one stip. Once it did, worked great. Makes beautiful colors. Dimmer really sets the mood. Can turn it off and the previous setting comes on. Love this in my kitchen. Would recommend.
