When the modem only has 4 ports and you have 7 wired devices, this is what resolves the issue. Nice and small so it takes up very little space and provides the expansion that I needed.

There's not much I can add to some of the other reviews - this works very well and very easily. It's a no brainer to use and I have several items hooked up off of this and they are working perfectly!

This switch allowed me to run simply one long cable instead of having four separate ones. Also this freed up additional ports on the back of my router. Good QOS management and get steady speeds.

This switch performs flawlessly in my network. I use it to split one of the two LAN ports on my cable modem/router. No setup was required. It just works to create multiple LAN connections. The price was the lowest on the shelf for this type of product.

It is exactly what it is. A gigabit switch. It works, it’s reliable and compact. This works great with newer mesh routers like Eero that only offer one LAN port. Excellent product.

I bought this to increase the number of ports available in our house. The Comcast Cable /Modem only has 4 ports and I wanted to CAT 6 wire the house smart TVs so they are hardwired now. Easy set up … just plug in and use.

When adding additional hub devices (e.g. Phillips Hue hub I discovered my system lacked capacity. This device allowed me to easily accommodate additional devices. It was easy to instal and has worked great.

Reviewed many options for ethernet switches. This one was economical with same features as more expensive ones. Setup is as simple as just plugging everything in. Works great.

I recently moved into a different home that had previously wired for cable. Since some of the wiring was oud and not functioning properly, I had to resort to different method to get my cable signals up and running. I had a wireless cable router as the initial receiver of the signal so I purchased a 4 port switch and simply and effectively routed new ethernet cables to each location I need a signal. It solved my problem quickly and efficiently. The switch works perfectly. I am very happy with my selection from Best Buy.

When i recently upgraded my router to 6E, i didnt realize that it was the okd router that slowed the Ethernet connections down to 100mbps. This switch allowed for no slow downs. I put this one over 100 ft from the router amd split to basement devices i was getting weak wifi at. Problem solved. Max speeds 550mbps achieved!

I use this to make sure all the smarthubs i have that need an ethernet connection can stay commected. Its a good pick up for a resonable price. Nice and small so i can keep it out of the way.

Needed this switch to connect the internet to the ethernet cables in my new home. Very small so this easily fit in the central control box. Very easy to use, plug and play technology. I also used price match to get a even better price.

I am using it in my theater room. To hard wire my Pioneer av receiver,a Sony 4k player, a 4k Appple tv, and a Sony tv. I just think all run better than a wifi system. It has been three weeks and all is well. Pitbullman

Great product for expanding a home network. Easy install; just plug in your network cables and plug in the power and you're good to go. Liked it so much I went and bought another for my entertainment center.

It's great when you can just plug something in, don't have to insert a CD or download and install a file to configure your new gizmo, and it just works. Has been working flawlessly since the moment I first plugged it in.

Really wanted to increase the number of ports at my entertainment center to accommodate all the new smart enabled devices and home control devices. A router with with 8 ports was just under $400 and this guy was only $80.

Did what it claimed. Easy to use. It is small so you and place it anywhere.
