Small footprint can sit on a desk or wall mount. Rubber feet and screws with drywall anchors included. No installation issues, plugged in the cat 5 cables, plugged in the power and up and running. Note that one of the 5 ports will be used by the input so maximum of 4 more switched devices can be plugged in.

My new cable modem / router didn’t have enough Ethernet jacks for all my devices. This switch did the trick and now I can use a cat5 cable to connect instead of connecting over wifi.

I purchased the switch to use in legacy machine equipment. I connected a i7 pc to the machine computer and now controlling the machine with my connected pc. It's been in the machine for 3 months and is going strong. Handles 108 degree cabinet temps with no problem. I purchased 3 more for other machines.

Never an issue with linksys. Having 3 different switches In my home. I would never choose anything else. Seamless install and never an issue with power outages or faulty hardware. Don't think about anything else.

Strong construction and free of issues this device. Ease to install not additional software is required. It can be installed over your wall as well if needed.

Need a new gigabit switch to replace an old 10/100 and this does the trick. easy setup and not issues with high bandwidth.

Seems to be a quality product. A super simple way to add some ports to your home network. Setup goes like this: Cable company Router to my home wifi router to this Linksys switch... then simply plug my devices into the switch.

Purchased as essentially a hub for music production computers on the other side of the room. I can't vouch for quality of connections other than the speed seems fine and I haven't had any connection issues. Works fine for my needs.

It was affordable and it works great. My ISP provided Gateway only has 2 RJ45 ports. This Switch allows me to plug in all my devices in my office at Gibabit speed.

I dont theink there is much difference between switches. I chose this one because it looks great.
