Back a few years ago you didn't have to worry about internet connectivity when dealing with home A/V systems. Now every piece of an A/V system has an ethernet port. I prefer to use wired ethernet connections to my components. Using this switch allows me to use one cable coming from my router to service all the components. Linksys is a name that I have confidence in due to owning previous Linksys components and I have not been disappointed.

Works as promised. Easy to set up. Comes with screws for mounting on wall.

I needed a replacement gigabit switch, but didn't want to spend a lot of money on one. I also needed it right away, so ordering online was not an option. This Linksys unit fit my needs. The only caveat that I should mention is that the indicator light per port, does not show you if it is connected at gigabit speeds vs. 100 megabit speeds. The switch I was replacing had 2 lights per port. If both are lit, it indicates a full gigabit connection.

Bought this to use with a desktop computer that is across the room from the modem. Was able to run an ethernet cable to the computer.

Have used many of these. Always dependable. Metal construction makes it very sturdy addition, especially at the jobsite it is installed in. Just plug it in and go.

This Ethernet switch is among the best out there. Looks professional placed near my other internet equipment. Metal case that can be wall or desk top mounted. Front and rear function indicator lights........

The agent installed my TV mount,TV on the wall, Receiver, link master remote and set up the sound output for the system and Linksys WiFi . He did a awesome job.

Great 5 port Ethernet connections This is very helpful specially if you have several console connect to Ethernet this will be the best item u can get .

Works well but is a 'dumb' switch. if you're looking for something like a router, this won't work but will be fine for a simple home network.
