Works perfectly. My Spectrum modem had four ethernet jacks. I needed six ports. Simple solution was to get this switch.

This makes it possible to hardwire devices easily. I could have changed the firmware on my old router, but this was far easier.

Now every piece of an A/V system has an ethernet port. I prefer to use wired ethernet connections to my components. Using this switch allows me to use one cable coming from my router to service all the components. Linksys is a name that I have confidence in due to owning previous Linksys components and I have not been disappointed.
