I know this product is a couple years old, but I just now had a need for a Gigabit switch. I had been rocking a Linksys 10/100 switch forever, until I got Xfinity/250Mbps. With the 10/100 switch, my speed was restricted to 100Mbps. Getting this new Gigabit switch, I'm hitting closer to 300Mbps. Great switch!

Works as intended, easy simple setup that helped fix my issue to make sure I'm getting the most out of my gig speed internet to my pc and ps5

Purchased this to replace a similar unit built by another manufacturer (attached devices would randomly disappear every few weeks until the switch was power-cycled). Working great, Linksys has always been a reliable brand for us.

I have always bought LInksys products and love them. I had to extend my network and I thought the SE3005 would be a great companion to my Linksys WRT3200ACM wireless router. I plugged it all up and it works great! I was surprised how bright the blue power LED is, this is the reason for 4 stars. There is no way to disable any LEDs on this unit. I do highly recommend this product if you don't mind the bright LEDs.

NB: I received this switch from Linksys to evaluate and review. I have had it for 2 weeks. My network is a gigabit cat 6 network (9 PCs from XP to Win 10, openSuse Tumbleweed tower and laptop, 2 multi-function wireless printers, six 8 and 5 port gigabit switches) and mimo wireless N and AC. It is a sturdy metal case. It has excellent throughput, especially when three people are streaming internet games and videos. It has autopowerdown of unused or inactive ports (powersaving), autocrossover for chaining. This is a solid, thus far reliable, middle of the road performer! I consider Linksys to make high quality devices and on the high-end of the market overall in quality and innovation. I doubt you will go wrong with or regret investing in this device.

When I was offered to try Linksys products for free for a honest feedback in return, I did not hesitate to say yes. In regards to this switch I compared it to another switch Linksys I had, but on older technology. No comparison, the SE3005 handled the network faster with no issues. I have installed this switch in my media center and all my media is no longer wireless it is all on the LAN. I have found that LAN network speeds in regards to streaming from wireless reduces network congestion and decreases buffering. This switch handled the speed of the connected network devices and drives.
