Great value home network switch

This one is inexpensive and allowed me the higher 1 Gb speed my home network allowed.

Fastest Gigabit Switch

The router I was provided with only had two ethernet ports. I researched and found that this Linksys gigabit switch was the fastest. I have not have any issues with the speed and have always tested at 960 MB/sec every time--the same speed as connecting directly into the router. Highly recommended.

All purpose + high speed

This switch gives me an easy way to restore the number of connections I had before on my previous wireless access point. Perfect solution for streaming media when a wired connection is available. Connect multiple devices: TV, game consoles, BlueRay, etc.

However, having the power connection on the front is a bit awkward when you want to neatly tuck this unit into a small space.
