This switch gives me an easy way to restore the number of connections I had before on my previous wireless access point. Perfect solution for streaming media when a wired connection is available. Connect multiple devices: TV, game consoles, BlueRay, etc.

Fastest Gigabit Switch

The router I was provided with only had two ethernet ports. I researched and found that this Linksys gigabit switch was the fastest. I have not have any issues with the speed and have always tested at 960 MB/sec every time--the same speed as connecting directly into the router. Highly recommended.

Plug and Play

I was able to feed one of those lines into this then send lines out from this to 4 devices and worked immediately. Handles speed and large data dumps over the network well. Small and the LED lights are bright enough to be noticed. Overall: Would buy again

Ethernet from the to the router, then to the switch. From the switch, to my computer, the TV, and a back haul to a bridge router in the garage. It’s an unmanaged switch so you don’t need to plug the cable from the router into a specific port on the switch. Works great!

Great Little Switch

It's cost effective and works right out of the box. Anybody with switches slower than a gigabit switch should definitely make the switch to a gigabit switch. Guaranteed a boost in your network speeds.
