My Router only had 4 ethernet ports and I wanted to add couple of additional devices with hard wire connection. I looked at all of the choices and decided to go with Linksys switch. It is very easy to connect and use; no software needed, plug-and-play. I recommend it.

As my “Smart Home” devices expanded, my speeds were impacted. Did some research, and came to this switch. It is fantastic! You can tell your speeds by the color of the led lights. It was showing much slower than the 1gb I pay for. Did some trouble shooting, got all the lights where they needed to be. Easy to set up. I highly recommend this!

I switched out an old 10/100 switch and this really increased the speed in my system. I had forgotten about the old one in my system and it was choking down my speed from the 700 mbps from the router to 90ish.

There is not much to say about this. It does what it is attended to do and I have not had any complications.

What can I say, it's an Ethernet switch. Work well for what I need, which is nothing crazy when it comes to a networking setup. Just adding more ports b/c I maxed out my router ports.

Needed to add my work network to my new router via Ethernet not Wi-Fi for speed! This device was exactly what was needed and performs perfectly!

I needed a new switch to replace a wireless router acting as a switch and bought this one. Piece of cake to set up, literally unplugged the old one, plugged this one in and magic... works as expected, took 2 minutes to swap out the old one, and works with no issues.

It was easy to install, and has been working 100% according to expectations.

Unit purchased to interface a DirecTv DVR box, PS4, and Samsung BluRay player to a Gigabit port on my Xfinity cable modem/router. I just plugged the cables into the switch ports, powered the switch, and INSTANT CONNECTION/COMMUNICATION to cable modem. I discern no "speed loss" through the switch with all units connected - all network traffic seems "lightning fast", regardless of how many units are active. In summary: this switch is a fast, inexpensive, and EFFORTLESS way of connecting up to 4 "Internet" devices (one port is always the "main feed") to a single "feed" port (modem, LAN port, etc.). Just make sure you use CAT5e or CAT6 cables to ensure Gigabit data rates.

Easy setup, literally plugin and ready to roll. :) I'm just using this to expand the number of ports on the back of my wireless router, and it s great. Doesn't produce much heat, and I've had no issues and gigabyte connectivity.

I needed a switch quickly, the folks at Best Buy, since we are a non-profit it is important to save money, they pointed me to this device, and it was inexpensive, easy to set up and works like the specs say. Thanks Best Buy!
