This gigabit ethernet switch has a nice compact design and offers excellent performance. It run cool. The color design blends in nicely in an entertainment center. Works well with my smart TV, XBOX One X, and Playstation 4.

bought a wireless extender, worked but not well. bought the switch so i could run a 25 ft. Ethernet cable to the extender and made it a access point, flawless! the switch did not slow anything down, and now have a couple extra Ethernet ports!

Great network switch, really only has 4 output etherner port as one of the 5 is taken up by the ethernet cable ran from the router into the switch. Very fast switch. Can consistently get gigabit speeds

So far so good! We got this so we could hardwire the 'net fpr two computers in our office.

Our mesh system router only has one WAN port. From my router, I have to connect an NAS and also a CellSpot to provide good phone reception in the house. So I need a means of connecting both units. That’s where this Linksys - 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch fills the bill. It does the job very well, and also has a little room for expansion in the future. The only thing that I would wish for is that all coonections would be on the back. Instead, the power cable connects on the front, which seems a bit out of place. But that’s getting a little nit picky. Other than that though, it fits our needs very well.

This is an excellent workgroup switch for a small office or room where only one Ethernet port is available. This device provides five devices with a network connectivity on a single Ethernet port. This Linksys switch is very reliable.

Must have for most modems that only have 2 ports..

Bought a eeco mesh router and needed more than the one port. I have two computer and a backup storage disk that do not have wireless connectivity.

I think I was very glad to get it. First, it was on sale and second, I used my gift certificates. At the end price was $10 which is good for good product! Works without any problems!

Great little switch. Powered and takes up very little space.

We needed to have more direct connections for computer to the modem instead of wireless. This worked immediately out of the box. Hassle free. Definitely recommend.

I love these little switches. I have three of these in my house, each one on one of my mesh router pods. They are perfect for all this devices you want to hard wire to keep speeds up.
