    Using my old computer as a backup and archive. This Ethernet port works perfectly, I can, now, even use one of the ports for my Laptop to upload files and updates quicker.

    Installation was very easy and straight forward. My work colleague and I can now share our one Ethernet port and have had no deterioration of internet speed from the addition of the switch.

    I purchased this to replace an older Linksys with wifi. I know this is just the switch but the speed was increased 10X. I tested with an app called Network speed test and ge 187Mbps download and 20Mbps upload.

    I am not a techie so Inprefer equipment that is easy to hook up. I also want it to work without any problems. The Linsky's 5-port Gigabit Ethernet port was both. Great recommendation from Best Buy staff.

    I've been rocking Linksys for a long time now It works well does exactly what I wanted it for has all the ports I need and it didn't break the bank.

    I have multiple routers in use in a split level home but they don't all process at the same speed. With the switch, I get the same speed now at each other and don't lose speed in series.
