Plugged in, powered up and was ready to go. That simple. No issues with the switch at all. Love the gigabit passthrough since I have fios gigabit internet. All my devices get what they need and I have been downloading on my computer, while playing xbox live and seen zero problems.

A simple and cost effective solution

Would be better if the ports and power cable were on the same side to keep the cable routing cleaner.
