Though advanced wifi users know how to prioritize media bandwidth in wifi routers, novices can take advantage of straight gigabit wired connections by plugging their gaming device directly into this switch and wiring this switch directly to their wifi router for maximum bandwidth. You also don't have to worry about port forwarding through this switch, it doesn't have a built-in firewall.
