I've tried relocating to different locations, but the signal extended carries only minimal bandwidth. This even when using a cable directly to a port on the extender.

When it works, it is great! But, I have to unplug and reset it often. Not sure why it keeps dropping out. My other signal does not drop, but for some reason, this one goes in and out.

much needed signal boost!

Our internet modem is located in our den, which is in the rear of the apartment. our house WIFI signal is not very strong in the front as a result. this item has greatly changed that. Very happy we bought it!!

This has solved the problem. Thank you! It was a little difficult to set up. Our son helped us out.

Called their customer support and they blamed it on my router. Incorrect. The Linksys one is far superior and never fails. Recommend stay away from other brands.

This is a very unusual behavior for the Linksys device. Make sure that the firmware of the device is up to date. You can also reset and configure the extender again, then check if the behavior remains the same.

I'm not a fan of the trend of having to go on a website only to find the instructions. Because often you are required to create an account, give out your information, etc. So far this item has been of zero use to me.

It was probably good that it didn't because I don't think it would have the throughput to send 4K video to my 55" Sony monitor anyway. I took it back and got a Power Line Ethernet Adaptor which works great.
