I lived in a house where I was pretty far from the router and I picked up internet signal pretty well with this range extender.

The location of the range extender and interference could've been interrupting the device's connection to your router. You can try relocating it and use the Spot Finder tool on the setup process to isolate this.

I tried using your troubleshooting site but they wanted $300.00 dollars to help fix the problem.

Great if the item you are trying to connect does not have wireless capability and there is no LAN drop nearby.

This worked as there is a shed in between with an electrical outlet. This did the trick.

Still have to run a booster just one floor and one room away from it. So while it's a very good router, and dual band, it's certainly not extraordinary in terms of power. Not sure it was worth the premium price.

• Place the router in a central location.
• Change the wireless channel to avoid possible interference in your network. Use the Wi-Fi analyzer app to find a less crowded channel for your wireless router.
• Manually update or reflash its firmware.

Great coverage in most all areas of the house.

In box instructions don't help very much. The signal boost is great. I even have full signal on my back yard patio and in the garage.

Otherwise, works just fine.

Loses Ip address of the router every few hours. It is in the perfect location per wifi placement guide. Very frustrating. The net gear extender I bought this to replace worked better.
