You can use the Linksys RE6500 WiFi extender to eliminate dead zones with an additional wireless coverage of up to 10,000 sq. ft. and will work with any wireless router, including modem routers. If you only have 3 bars on your wireless device, try to relocate the range extender closer to the router or place it in a central location so that it will be able to communicate well with the main router. You may take advantage of its Spot Finder Technology feature to guide you where to relocate the extender to boost the range of your garage area.
