Extremely Difficult to Setup

It did extend the signal, but took over a month to set up. After speaking with linksys, the internet provider, and the company of the network that was set up and built into the house.

Not Overly Impressed

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Linksys Extender. Allow us to assist you with the challenges you have with the Linksys device. There are different factors that can affect the wireless connection between the Linksys extender and your WiFi router. Try to relocate the extender and observe if you get a stable connection. There is a possibility that your wireless network is prone to wireless interference which may cause dropping connection. Try to adjust the Wireless Channel set on your router. Use Channel 1 or 6 or 11 which are non-overlapping and less crowded. Send us an email at [email protected] so we can assist you further with the troubleshooting.

Faulty product with lengthy tech support.

Four calls with Tech Support resulted in Linksys determining product was defective. Lengthy exchange program. Original purchase was September 2nd. It is October 15th and newly arrived replacement (shipping original back on own dime) required duplicate credit card charge, and couldn't reach appropriate tech support for morning support to setup. After 6 weeks am down twice the cost of the unit and no functioning extender.
