If you've changed your network settings, re-installing your RE6500 repeater should be a breeze. Simply reset the extender and use any wireless devices to connect to its default network name SSID. If you can't see your Linksys RE6500 from the list of available networks, you may have to get closer to the range extender to set it up. It did extend the signal, but took over a month to set up. After speaking with linksys, the internet provider, and the company of the network that was set up and built into the house.
