If you encounter intermittent connections while connecting behind the Linksys RE6500 over Wi-Fi, then try to power cycle the unit and make sure that the extender is within the Wi-Fi range of the wireless router. You may also try relocating the extender and let us know with its result by sharing it over email at LinksysCares@linksys.com so we can have it checked with our Escalation Engineers. Before setting up the Linksys RE6500, we must make sure to have your router’s Wi-Fi settings (Wi-Fi name / SSID and password / security key) ready. Also, it is recommended to reset the extender first before setting it up.
