Tried to use as a wireless bridge...bad idea

Totally useless, wish I could return it but I threw away the packaging.

One of the possible reasons why we encounter wireless disconnection issues behind the Linksys RE6500 is its location and the distance from the router. Make sure to place it midway between your router and the place without Wi-Fi. We appreciate you alerting us about this. As long as the extender is linked to a reliable source, this behavior is definitely not what is expected of it. A factory reset may be useful. Please take into account where it is. It should ideally be situated between your router and the device you want to connect to.

Make sure to place the extender in between the router/gateway and the devices that are out of range. You can also use the spot finder feature to know the perfect location. The availability of this feature is an indication that the extender is running on the latest firmware.
