    I have Comcast and live in an 1682 sq ft house. Bought this to extend my WIFI to my newly set up upstairs home office. No good/ Hard to connect to and I am after 3 weeks of trying going to take it back to the store and get a refund.

    I have an AT&T modem & I had a very difficult time connecting. I felt like this purchase was a waste of time & money. I finally gave up on it, unfortunately, the return period had passed, so I’m stuck with it, but I purchased a different extender.

    Had to take it back

    This didn't work in my house, I had to take it back. It connected to my wifi but I felt like it kept clocking trying to download something but couldn't. I ended up getting a later model modem and I don't have any internet problems now.

    Did not give me the coverage I needed

    I have a 3 level townhome. My router is on the level 1. I get WiFi from my router on level 3 but not enough bandwidth. The extender could not connect to my router on level 3. I had to place it on level 2 and it still did not give my WiFi on level 3.

      To maximize the signal of the range extender, it is recommended to place the device right between where you want to extend the signal and your main router. We suggest that you make sure that the range extender has a line of sight, or has a good signal from the main router.

    Obviously, we have internet problems at our house or we wouldn't need an extender. Ultimately, we couldn't get the product to talk to our router. I got it to work once, then couldn't get it to work again. Even had Time Warner tech out to try. Our house is cement and is a problem. Might work in a different house.

      It appears that the range extender could not establish a stable connection to your router. We suggest placing the unit midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi. Also, check if you have at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal at that point on the device you will use for setup.

    It worked fine for a few days then it started acting up. My husband spent over an hour troubleshooting it with customer support and they couldn't find the problem. We will be returning this item.

    This unit was defective. I was so disappointed as we had just been put on stay at home restrictions & I needed the boost for my home office. Ended up driving an hour each way just to return it.

    My wifi network (both the router and this extrende) stopped working after several days with the extender. Extender was very hot to the touch. When disconnected network function returned.

    It was recommended, in store, by the sales rep. It was supposed to be what I needed for my usage. However, it never did connect to my internet in the first location so I moved it to another and then it would never come back on. I had returned the bad/faulty product.

    Purchased extender hoping it would solve my signal strength issues in my 2story - 2500 sq. foot home. Despite using their utilities to place the extender in the optimum location, it did not solve the problem. I called Linksys tech support and they were not able to improve the situation.
