Do not waste your time

Was no better than current service

It was to be used with the “Ring” system. At least once a day it lost service and had to be rebooted! Hard to do when you are not there to physically do that.

impossible to set up

Incomplete instructions. 2 hours with foreign "support" service ended with "maybe it is defective. Second unit same thing - actual problem is horrible customer support. Bought Google Wifi and did the whole house in 15 minutes.

Defective- twice!

After spending over an hour with Linksys support, they finally determined the unit was defective. So I exchanged it for another, and the second one won't even set up at all. A very poor track record.

Disconnecting issues

The performance of the range extender would depend on its location and the type of router that you're using. It is recommended to place it midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi. Also, check if you have at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal at that point on the device you used for setup.
