I have long been a fan of Linksys routers and this one is no exception. It keeps are wi-fi signal strong and steady - which is important as I work from home. Even with heavy traffic (from streaming, gaming, and additional phones and computers on our home network) - I have had no problems.

I bought this for my son because he always complained about the poor connectivity in the basement, where his bedroom is located. Now he can do his homework in his room!

Works great and much better than the previous netgear one I had. Basically works as a pure extension of your wifi and not a separate signal.

Recently moved to an apartment and needed a connection in my office. I bought this to bridge the wireless in my living room to my office and then wired up my desktop to the wireless extender. The setup process was straightforward and very simple to follow. It has 4 LAN ports on the back that make it easy to hook up other wired devices if needed. It also works great as a wireless repeater if you need a stronger wireless signal.

This extender was perfect...when it was working. After the first 2 weeks the wifi kept going in and out, and I know it wasn't the router. Maybe I got a defective one? I got frustrated and just returned it instead of exchanging it.

Did exactly what I needed it to do. Worked out perfectly.

I bought this because I needed to be able to connect to my network through a wired connection and the powerline links I was using just didn't work. This was easy to set up and works really well. While I didn't have any real wireless connectivity issues it has boosted the speed around where I set it up.

Had to buy this because my new HP Officejet had issues staying connected to the router. This extender was recommended. At first when I was setting this extender up I had a concerned because it could not connect to my router, even when it was right next to it! The instructions say the light on the extender will blink for about two minutes then go solid when ready. The light on the extender took about 30 mins to go solid. Afterwards everything connected and set up was easy. And it did solve my printer connectivity too!

I have Spectrum in my house and needed an extender because the downstairs bedroom was not getting any signal. This extender provided adequate coverage.

Not sure if I noticed a difference with this extender.

The extender works well giving coverage throughout the house, however it is not strong in all areas of the house. Good that everywhere in the house receives a signal.

Able to extend wifi from over 600 ft. Built a new house and used this to stream from another house while waiting on the cable company construction process. Worked well depending on atmospheric conditions. It did not work well during rain or fog. Although not its intended purpose, I was impressed by its performance. After getting cable installed, it works well to extend wifi to the basement.

Bad internet provider is bad internet provider. This does strengthen several areas of the concrete walled condo I live in ... but there are no miracles. When I walk from upstairs (where the base Internet Wifi is located) to the downstairs (where this range extender is located) it seems to hesitate and sometimes drop my FaceTime call in progress. If I stay in the area, no problem. It was really easy to setup and only needs an electric plug. Bonus I used it to provide a wired connection to my Satellite provider box on the ground floor.

This is a great router, lots of features and the range is fantastic. The UI for the router is easy to use, and easy to configure. However... I'm noticing some anomalies when using it (hence the 4 star), such as my cell phone dropping sometimes when I'm sitting directly in front of the router. Could this be my phone? possibly... but I've also purchased a Linksys extender, and having issues with that as well. Just adds some frustration, and makes me wish my entire home was wired with CAT5 cable. Overall, no complaints, need to do some troubleshooting. Would recommend, despite the heavy price.

I live in a rather large house. The main router stays about 45-50 feet away from my room with my other computer, and Xbox. With the distance, and other walls in the way, this little thing picks up the signal no problem and strengthens it. A little side note, I do not have the best internet speed. For some reason this product actually helped with the lag I was experiencing when I was hooked up to the main router.

If you are looking for a way to extend your wifi signal this isn't a bad option for the price. Not sure if more money spent will get you are stronger signal or not.

This was very easy to set up, and it turned on. I assumed that meant it was working..... however, I noticed absolutely NO improvement in the signal range of my WiFi network. I tried moving this around the house to see if I could get any improvement. However, the dead spots in the hous were still dead spots. I am going to return this as soon as possible.

I recently bought this range extender to fix the dead spots in my house upon buying it it was very easy to set up and performs great..
