Its wireless speeds are slower as the data is being shared between the two devices. To maximize its performance, make sure to place the range extender half way between your main router and where the intended wireless devices are located.

For my use I don't recommend the range extender. The Dual Band router works best with Amazon Fire Stick no Buffering since my purchase. Thanks
