I use a Sonos Amp to provide music so needed Internet connectivity. I trenched an underground Ethernet cable to the bar and connected the AC1200 to it as a WiFi Access Point. It works like a charm! My Sonos Amp runs perfectly, and my guests all have great Internet access.

This is a Wi-Fi range extender!

I didn't actually use this and I ended up returning it since the Wi-Fi in my apartment seem to be working all right. It seems to be a good fit though, it's not the kind that just plugs into the wall oh, and it has antennas.

It produces a 2G and 5G extender bands. Works great with some older equipment and newer. Easy peasy to plug in and get working as long as instructions are followed (1st hand experience from one that doesn’t usually care about instructions manuals: they’re more like guidelines).

The phone uses VoIP but needs to be connected by an ethernet cable. So I plugged the phone into this Lynksys Wi-Fi extender and VOILA! Everything works just as intended. I recommend this product if your looking to connect any device to your wi-fi by wire.
