I bought this range extener to increase the WI-FI signal in the basement and it did just that. Setting up the extender was a little frustrasting but not too bad overall. Recommended.

The connection of the range extender to the network could've been interfered in its current location. To isolate this, try relocating it and use the Spot Finder tool on the setup process to know the best position. My laptop was struggling to make the connection to even the slow side. We purchase this unit and I am happy to say that we can use both bands on the wifi router. No more slow connections anywhere in our home! Love it!

I purchased the extender and plugged it in and it came up as a device on my network. Other than having to put in my security code no other configuration was needed. Awesome investment. Now I have a good signal at the back of the house as well.

The "spot finder" feature is extremely helpful and will assist you with finding just the right location for your extender. If you need one, do yourself a favor and spend the money on it. For the price, it's worth it.
