This update my 6-year old Linksys E2000. This broadcast in double frequency (2.4 and 5GHz) at a time. Installed in less than 5 min. So long signal range covering all the house. The wireless speed from iphone at any place in the house is more than doubled (from 30 M to 80 ~ 100 Mbps, and I signed up 60 Mbps speed! Another great thing is the wifi network can be viewed and controlled through website or App anywhere in the world. Very satisfied. Highly recommended.

After moving into a larger house I needed to upgrade my old router in order to get Wifi through the whole house. I purchased this router for the range and while the 5ghz band has some crazy range the 2.4ghz is somehow worse. I'm not sure how that's possible but I have 5ghz through most of my house and not the 2.4ghz band. Still, to my dismay, I can't get wifi in my basement which I was hoping to fix with a router this powerful. Still debating returning for something more powerful.

A replacement for a earlier version of this router, provides good strong signal throughout our 2-story home as well as to my shop building over 80' away.

Previously owned an ASUS AC87R AC router. The router randomly disconnected computers and would not do anything until a hard reset. Replaced it with this router and I couldn't be happier. So far, no issues with disconnection and the interface is extremely user friendly. The router also has very good range. I need a powerful router due to the construction materials of my house. I would highly recommend this router if you are looking for a versatile and secure AC router.

I used to have old linksys router in the year 2010. It used to be very reliable. Later in the middle I bought Netgear routers for 2 times which lasted within less than an year each and later I used to rent comcast router for few years. Later when I wanted to own a new router I bought this router based on my old one. This router is very reliable, calm and never let me down. Now I never thought of checking my internet speed. Broadcasts signal throughout the entire house. Upstairs and the basement all get fantastic coverage.

I went from a linksys EA4500 to this router. My wireless distance improved about 30%. That's the additional distance from the den to the patio where I can finally achieve a wireless signal.

Spectacular router! The range is phenomenal. The interface is incredibly user-friendly but it also caters to those who may know a bit about router configuration. Open VPN configs can be created with the push of a button, complete with TLS. The linksys app is something to be desired, though, but with open vpn you can pop right over to your network and drop in your router ip and you'll have access to your router from anywhere.
