Disclaimer: I received this product for free as part of Belkin's Friends + Family Program Wi-Fi in my home has been a huge disappointment. I have Internet-enabled Blu--ray players and, of course, laptop computers, tablets, and smartphones, and wireless printers. Using these devices has been problematic as Wi-Fi signals (cell phone and TV signals as well) don't penetrate my walls very well. The result is frequent disconnects from the Wi-Fi network and if you're trying to watch a Netflix movie, the annoyance factor is enormous. The WRT1900ACS showed up and you could imagine my excitement. Four antennas, AC wireless technology, dual core processor - I was expecting great performance, and this router delivered! Setup was easy. Be sure to record the router password that shows on screen during the setup as this router did not use the standard Linksys router admin password. I had to reset the router and reinstall so I could capture the password. Also be sure that, when you set the router up, you're out of range of other wireless networks as the router reboots during install and if you connect to another network during the reboot, it looks like the router is stuck. Simply reconnecting to the router solves the problem. This router has the ability to connect to a USB device, such as a storage device or a printer. I used a USB flash drive and multiple users were able to read and write files to the flash drive over the network easily. Lots of applications for that feature - sharing a printer, or having a centralized backup device, for example. You can set up a guest network so your visitors can get on the Internet but not access your computers and printers. For the high-end user, the ability to install an open source operating system will provide any missing features those users want in a router. I did not try the open source operating system, but I would consider doing so to get detailed Internet usage reporting for all the users connected to the router (detailed reporting not available with the router as it comes out-of-the-box). For me, the best part of using this router is the power and coverage area. In my bedroom, I am frequently unable to get any wireless signal at all with my old router. With this router, not only did I get consistent signal, but I got a consistent strong signal. For the first time, I was able to watch Netflix in my bedroom without the constant interruptions caused by loss of wireless signal. Plus, the speed is incredible. I logged over 400mbps in the same room as the router, and I was consistently at 70-80mbps in my bedroom. What a change, and I didn't know what I was missing with a lower-cost router. In fact, I didn't think my coverage problems could be solved, but this router did the trick! I use other features of the router, such as the ability to give different devices and different services higher priority on the network, and all features work as advertised. This router is great for people looking for signal strength and speed combined with simple setup. If you're a power-user, you're going to need to go to an open source operating system to get fine control of the router.

There was a software issue with this router that would not allow us access for all devices. However, do not let the 3 stars discourage you from purchasing one, because it may have been an isolated incident, which may not effect you.

Once again, Linksys has done it again. A great product that is simple to set-up and is stable all around my house. Price might be a little steep but you pay for what you get.

We have about 14 devices used the WIFI in our home. This router makes our internet connection very fast and it was a VERY easy set up. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Purchased this router to replace one that suddenly needed a power cycle every three or four days. It has nice features and better range which is helpful in our brick house.

Very easy to get the router set up and working. Router performs better the higher it is so if your house has two or more stories, place it upstairs for the best coverage.

Excellent router with good documentation and easy to set up as well. Used in a business environment and serves a good number of computers and other devices with no problems.

Quick and easy setup out of the box. Flashable to Dd-WRT for even greater control. A great product based on an old standby. Recommended for the tech enthusiast.

This router was probably one of the easiest I've installed. I've had a few weeks now and I'm impressed and in love with it. Worth the price for me and is recommended.

Very good coverage. Worked flawlessly right out of the box. Chosen because of the removable antenna's. I hooked up one external antenna to cover our parking lot.

This router is very very easy to setup and the interface is wonderful! I have always used Linksys and this router definitely trumps them all. Highly recommend!

Very fast. Register over 220mps with Comcast 200mps service. Very easy to set up and use. useful esata and usb3 ports for networking hard drives or printers

I used this router to replace an older Berlin dual frequency router. This router has much greater range and a more stable wireless connection. No issues so far.

This is a very good router. I have noticed how much faster my computer works with this new router. It is excellent.

The router was real simple to set up and the mobile app makes it nice for establishing device priorities and making heavily used devices faster on the Internet.

Nice "little" router with a retro linksys look. It has decent range and works for me. It even supports open-sourced firmware if that's your thing.

Very simple set up using Linksys app. Just plug in and restart modem and I was up and running. You can view connected devices and set priorities.

This router works great. While not top of the line, it works well for all of my gaming needs. It also puts out a strong signal that reaches to my backyard.

Great product, love that I can have my guest on a separate network. We stream tv, iPads, game systems and smartphones. Works wonderfully, Great speed.

I upgraded from the WRT1900AC and noticed a bug difference in speed. I've been a long time Linksys owner and I'm always impressed with their products.
