Easy setup and future proof
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Linksys makes set up a breeze with their smartphone app, and this router future proofs anyone who needs multiple connected devices and/or plans to move to a bigger house. The linksys app pairs with the router quickly at the push of a button. You may need a linksys user account, but once you are past login you give up network a name and passcode and you are done! With triband, MIMO, and mesh, this router sets you up for the future.

Good Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was questionable about spending this much but other units I tried were alway glitchy. Sometime they worked sometimes not. Got this unit, was a quick and easy setup and does a nice job providing wifi throughout the house. The initial setup was done at my PC. Then I was able to located the unit somewhat central in my house (2,500sf) Ran an ethernet line from my Fios router and plugged it back in. That was about it.

Great router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ACC2000 router Was purchased after internet being dropped every day. I must say that I am very pleased with this router so far. There are several factors that lead me to give it a high rating: ∙ Quick Start: The connection and setup were quite simple. What I found is that as soon as the unit powered up and was ready, my browser automatically connected using the wired connection and walked me through the configuration. It may be the easiest Linksys setup thus far.

decent Velop mesh router
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the good: -velop mesh compatible - Depending on the size and configuration of your home, this may or may not be an advantage. Mesh routing in larger homes is certainly becoming popular as it becomes more affordable, but for small to medium homes, this router by itself is probably not the best choice. -stability - Overall, I've found the Velop mesh system to be quite stable, and a significant improvement over "access point" type set ups. Moving between nodes is still controlled by the device that is connecting, and something like a tablet or phone should have no problem finding the strongest signal. For desktops or laptops, etc, you may need to forget and reconnect to the network to attach to the strongest node signal. -external antennae - Nice for adding directional coverage to a specific location. -4 gigabit ethernet ports - One drawback of the white "tower" Velop nodes, they only have 2 physical ethernet ports. If you use one to connect to your modem, you effectively are left with one port. In my case, I have a need for more, so it means I don't need a switch. -USB 3.0 port - Another drawback of the white tower Velop node, there is no USB port. The MR8300 has a high speed 3.0 port, though it currently isn't used for anything (no external drive support yet, but according to Linksys is for "future expansion"). -wall mount - Since it has more of a traditional router design, the ability to mount on the wall is a nice addition. -setup - Essentially the same as any of the other Velop node setup. Relatively pain free, even if it did take a bit for everything to be automatically configured the first time. the bad: -range is just ok. I saw slightly better coverage on 5G devices with a traditional Velop node. -price - As a stand alone router, there are better choices in or below this price. As an addition (or base of) a Velop system, it's not a bad option, certainly if you have need of additional ports or a change in antenna direction. misc: -design - Nothing horribly exciting or off putting about the design. Fairly small footprint. -specs - Aside from the ethernet ports, the antennae, and the USB port (which currently has no use), there's not really much of a spec change between this and the tower style Velop node. overall: It's not a bad router by any means, but it would've been nice to see a spec upgrade for the additional price, over the white tower style node. 3 stars, since its value is directly tied to Velop without much of an advantage over a standard Velop node.

Easy setup. Quick speed boost.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was easy. Linksys says use the app, but you can setup using a PC via USB. On/off individual device control is nice. You can see what devices are connected at any time. The one thing I miss is not broadcasting my network ID. The SSID cannot be hidden anymore. But the security features are easy to use. Great overall value to maximize network speed available.

Decent router
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got router and setup within about 5 minutes. Pretty much plug and play out of the box! At this price point The device itself has a small footprint and multiple(4) antennas. 5 wired Ethernet ports(1 is for internet, 4 for device) USB port hosting. The costing is a bit high for a 2200 wifi system though. BUT this is system has a autonomous WDS that works seamlessly with the Linksys VELOP nodes!! They work as stated and expand the wifi well. No fuss like extenders years before or AP WDS setup I did downgrade the rating because I wasn't a fan of the Linksys GUI and the primary purpose of this router is the VELOP node which is an additional purchase.

Easy Setup and Expandability
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Linksys - MR8300 Max Stream WiFi Router is an excellent solution for anyone looking for an easy to setup and easy to expand whole home wifi solution. With the addition of velop wifi mesh routers to this system you can easily add additional range to any household without the need for complicated setup or wiring. I live in a fairly small house but with thick concrete walls that make wifi horrendous throughout the home, with this router I am able to easily add mesh routers to extend wifi into rooms that have normally weak signal.

Easy set up and very fast speeds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. This is a replacement for a similar Linksys router that failed after 6 weeks of use., Overall seems to be fast and reliable. Setup was was very easy and the app is fantastic. Nice to know I can add nodes if I need them but I have a 3,500 square foot house and I get good signal everywhere.

Great WiFi Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. Great router for our needs. Have not had any lagging issues. Two gaming consoles, four iPhones, laptops and iPad. All this and no issues. Average around 160mbps speed. So with that being said I would definitely buy this again. Have been a dedicated Linksys user and always will be.

Great router to boost signal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router because the one optimum offered wasn't giving signal throughout my house. I have a signal story ranch with a basement. This router now covers the whole main floor and the basement with almost full bars everywhere. Couldn't be happier! Great price. Great product.

Excellent, Fast and EASY to setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 3000+ square-foot home and this router has been serving all areas of the house without dead zones. I am going to add a couple of velops to it but in a couple of weeks to provide a wider coverage outdoors. Couldn’t be happier and it was a breeze to setup.

Easy setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Netgear X6 8000 died, so I ran to BB to find a replacement. The Linksys was $100 cheaper and claimed better specs. It was stupid easy to setup on my Note 9 with the free app. I was able to refine settings from my Desktop. Overall excellent performance so far.

Easy Set-up, Great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased this router and it was probably the easiest set-up ever. Simply plug it in, download the app, set up your name and password and your online. Used to use a “gaming” router that needed boosters to cover my home, with this one no boosters are needed.

Great Router with expand-ability
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this router to replace an older out of date one. the ease of set up, signal strength and expand-ability is superior. I love that as we upgrade to our new house in the near future we will be able to expand using the Mesh technology.

Great router!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router was very easy to set up, probably the easiest I have ever setup!! I also added 3 Velop nodes throughout the house without any problem. The whole process took less than an hour to complete and everything was working the first time.

Good value for mid-range router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great router in the mid-range of prices. Setup is a snap. The app has virtually any setting you might need. Only one light. No WPS button, but the app includes WPS.

Overall good router. App to setup and config ok.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once I got the router working it does what is supposed to do. Gets great coverage in the house. Has mesh so can extend into the basement and garage. Needs a phone to run an app to setup. Setup didn't go so well. First few times the app couldn't see the router on the internet. Eventually powered down and back up the modem and router in the right way for it to work. There is nothing in the app at that point that will help troubleshoot. Not much on the website to help either. One good thing is I was able to easily set it up using the old WiFi name and password during the setup wizard. Didn't have to change any of my devices to connect to the new router. The app has everything you need to manage and config the router. Easy to use. Can see status and control from anywhere. Has device prioritization, parental controls, and built in speed test. Even has the connect with WPS right in the app.
