I was having problems with my internet connection and thought it was my modem. My ISP kept telling me to reset the modem and check the results of my speed test. After they came out 3-4 times and me resetting it every week for months, an IT friend asked how old my router was and said if it was 3-4 years old, to replace it. I replaced it and problem solved! I also went a little more powerful and now don’t even need the WiFi extender! Excellent WiFi router!!!

My old router stoped working. This one was recomemed by staff works great and did not break the bank.

It's my first Linksys item but so far I'm impressed by its performance. I can get almost the full internet speed on Wifi.

Thought it might be too much but easy setup and faster than old Apple airport express which Apple no longer makes.

After having major issues with our Netgear Nighthawk Ethernet router for about a month (and the company refusing to honor the warranty), we were pretty frustrated. We decided to go to Best Buy for not only a better selection of products, but the great warranty program. We love our Linksys router. It was super easy to set up and it is lightening fast! In my opinion, it’s one of the best routers for a household with multiple devices/gaming systems.

I’m really happy with this router. I don’t have a huge apartment but I have no issues with connection or signal. It’s great. Set up was a breeze as well. It was on sale at the time so it was perfect timing. I’m using this instead of paying for the 15 dollar a month Verizon rental. I choose to have internet only, so those of you who use internet only with Verizon just know that this works great. In a few months this thing will pay for itself.

Over all the unit performs well. The signal reaches to my office at the back of the house, which is the farthest place from the unit. I am concerned the the little light on the top of the unit is red and not blue as it should be, but I don't know what is causing this. As far as I know all connections are where they should be, but I could be wrong about that. All equipment that uses wifi work fine, so the red light puzzles me. I'd like to solve this mystery.
