Linksys has always been my WiFi brand for years! The new velop routers are off the charts. I bought this as my base as the base router and two velop extensions and my WiFi is flawless! Nothing lags anywhere. I even have one out in the store room on the patio so I can enjoy my outside tv and have internet outside!

I purchased this router, and installed, for a friend's house. His issue was that his daughter's bedroom, on the other side of their house, was not getting a strong signal with what they had currently as a router. He loved this and it fixed his daughter's signal issue.

This was super easy to set up and it works great! It was recommended by the salesman and he was correct. We have over 1500 sqft and two stories. It doesn’t matter where you are in the house, you never lose coverage. We stream tv, internet and several cellphones at once and don’t have any problem later doing so. And, the price was nice.

Bought this to replace my previous Linksys and not disappointed. My previous wireless router struggled at 18-20 devices and this is running like a champ. It stands out a little more than the other one due to the rods coming off of this one as my previous one was a flat looking wireless router.

The Best WiFi router yet. I've tried many brands of routers over the years and this one by far blows the others out of the ballpark. I run 7 items at the same time and never loose signal. It actually up the speed of my internet on both up/down load speeds. I would totally recommend this product to anyone.

First the speed difference between this and our previous TP link router is amazing! We were getting around 120 mbps and now we are getting 250+. Down side is that its been dropping the signal recently. Spectrum says its the router, but the modem also has no signal. So.....

Installed seamlessly after internet provider reset the triplicate DHCP IP addresses my previous mesh system kept throwing out causing a persistent loss of internet service. No dropped signals or a continuation of DHCP IP address issues. Will be adding additional Velop nodes to this to increase overall performance throughout the home.

This router provides excellent signal throughout my two-story townhouse. I am not thrilled with the Linksys app or the browser interface to mess with the settings. If you are a gamer or will be setting up an advanced network (for a small business, for example), you will want Linksys' WRT routers. For everyone else, this router will work once you download the app to your phone for it.

Fast easy set up. Increased speed over older model.

We live in a roughly 3000 sq. ft. 2 story house, and the basement is finished too. The router sits along a wall in the Great Room (centrally located) and we get solid connection everywhere (and even beyond out on the driveway and on the patio out back). This was our second Linksys router, and upgrade over the previous. We are not "serious gamers", but do stream when playing Wii, have 3 TV's with Roku sticks for all of our TV viewing (YouTube, Philo, ESPN+, etc), a family of 4 with phones being used regularly, laptops, etc. The App (ran both on phone and on laptop) is great and shows what and how many devices are running off of it, and you can prioritize them (or set up parental controls for access times or even pause someone's internet access right from your phone when your kid isn't doing what they need to do!). Overall, quite happy with the router so far.

Purchased this router to replace an older Linksys router. Works like a charm - now have a strong signal throughout the entire house (1,300 sq ft) and no longer need a wifi extender. Unfortunately, setup through the app was problematic. After one hour and several reboots, the app finally found the router. Once that happened, setup was a breeze.

Have great coverage for all areas throughout the house and yard. It is positioned on the second floor and I have great streaming quality at the opposite side of the house in the first floor. Even the garage has full signal over 200' away...

Good router for the money,covers a large area and has good speed.

If you’re familiar with how to use apps, this router is easy to use. You can control the router settings with an app that allowed you to set things like device name, password, device prioritization.. overall I’m glad it was purchased. It supports up to 2GB per second data transfer which is mind blowing for average use.

It was a good product, but I ended up not needing it.

My old Linksys router started giving me problems, was time to replace. Found this that has the option for future extension with Velop, don't need it currently, but always good to have the option. Installation was very easy and fast, step by step instructions on the Linksys app. So far works very good and gets good speed all around the house. Not very cheap, but so far, worth the money.
