Caught this on sale the day after Christmas, seems it was Linksys that dropped the price but I grabbed it at my local Best Buy. Initial setup via the Linksys app was tedious but immediately thereafter I replaced the stock firmware with OpenWRT 21.02.1 and moved this in as my main router, which previously was an EA6350B v4. Joins an Linksys EA6350v3, a Linksys 1900ACS, and a TP Link Archer C7v5 access points, all running OpenWRT. I can’t really speak to range etc because my house is both multistory and had steel studs, therefore while-house WiFi requires multiple access points. That said, Linksys has seemingly dropped its WRT lineup, so it was tough finding a quad-core OpenWRT ready router till I read up in this. It’s be overkill for a dumb AP (I’d use more TP Link C7s for that, but they’re only single-core) but a great replacement main router. A very nice find!

Was reasonably easy to set up and speed is good. may still need an extender.

I just purchased this router a week or so ago and, so far, it's been great! My internet connections on all of my devices have been smooth and fast. Only thing is, it was a bit challenging to set up since I do not have an actual modem in my apartment. However, this was probably more of a user error than anything! It was even better, too, because I got this router half off!

This thing was a breeze to set up. like plug it in install the app and bingo automatic everything. The app is a big turn on for me on this item, it puts the administrator in the driver's seat when it comes to customization and parental control.

Overall I’m happy with this purchase. It was difficult to set up and required a few hours on the phone with a clueless technician. Once the set up is finished I’m very happy with the performance. Plenty of signal across my single story home. Both of my teenagers connect multiple devices and we have no issues with internet.

Decided to test my luck and purchase my own modem and router in order to save the $20 a month rental fee to Comcast (Xfinity). Does a good job covering my 3800 square foot two story, but I may need to but a couple of extenders in the future to make it perfect.

I purchased this when my older router started going out causing regular interruptions. Once connected to this new router all of the devices started working much better except for my tv in the furtherest bedroom. I couldn’t get the signal to go through 2 walls consistently so I had to return it. Aside from the the range it works well with over 10 devices connected at once.

Setup was not difficult but explanations for the various entries would have been helpful along with an explanation of how the tri-bands work.

Easy to set up and get running also has great range

The AC2200 is easy to setup with the app. Good WiFi signal throughout. I especially like that I can check status of the router remotely. If I notice something not working such as the WiFi thermometer I can check router/WiFi status while away from home.

Really great router! Needed better coverage and QOS from the ISP provided crap unit. Have one node purchased separately. Only 2 issues first the phone app sucks, wont connect to network if internet is down and the router needs a power cycle if the power goes out.

The Linksys Router works really well and we really like it. It is much faster that our previous router router/modem combo. I did have a little trouble setting it up so I had to call their customer service line, but the representative was awesome and helped me finish the setup.

This wi-fi is absolutely awesome. It has my internet flowing so fast & smooth. I caught it on sale at Bestbuy for $99 & was about to order another one for my parents home but the sale went off. It’s still worth the $199 price because it’s absolutely awesome.

The product works well in our 1600 sq ft house. We have 6 devices accessing the wifi with no problems. The instructions to set up the router did not work for me, I had to call the 800 number to do the set up which the service person made the set up real simple. Great Job

Had issues with coverage in our house. After doing some checking and talking with some friends that had similar issues, those that had successfully resolved the issue had used Linksys. I got this router and coverage through out the house is much better and faster.

Hardest part was factory resetting my existing Velop system. Which was holding down the reset. Opened the app set up the new router with my info then re added the 3 pack Velop with one for the garage now. Simple and easy. Kids have the plugs for Xbox and PS4 on the main router now with no extra ethernet switch.

Great range and was easy to set up which was done by the Geek Squad.
