I bought this router as temporary replacement for my other router. I like it but will be using it as an ap down the road.

Added to an existing Velop AC2200 triband mesh network with no problems, and also provides four wired Ethernet ports for heavily used media devices. This router has to be set up as the main node, so the best way to implement it in an existing Velop mesh is to turn all the existing nodes off, install this one as your main router, then turn on the existing Velop nodes and reset them to factory settings so that they will join the new mesh network as satellite nodes. Both the mobile app and the web interface are easy to use and well-documented.

Pro: Once set up, it has been running great. Con: It was a challenge to get set up - it got stuck in a repetitive cycle and wouldn't finish.

Router reboots itself for no reason even when just browsing the web, once or twice per week. Router worked fine for three months, then I exchanged for the same model. Second model started doing the same after about a month. It could possibly be the firmware update breaks it a some point. I have been a fan of Linksys routers for years but this family of routers with the Tri band technology seems to be unstable. When it works is great but can’t rely on the router to stay on. I switched to a netgear. So far signal is stable.

Works well in a 2-story 3100 SF home. Great signal throughout and we only use streaming video services, no cable.

My previous router quit working so I bout this online and picked up curbside. Easy set up and seems to work good. No problems.

Great router, easy to setup - 10 minutes and connect all devices to it. Better range than my old router. I highly recommend it!

I purchased this as a replacement for a Lynksys that was many years old. Before, I had connectivity issues on the other side of the house. Now - no real issues with wifi. Computer, smart TV, and 2 smart phones all work at the same time. The phone app is cool, too. Let's you see what devices are connected and how (5 vs. 2.4 Ghz). SETUP: I had to be patient. I had to notify my ISP and then start this up several times before the magic blue light was shining. Just try it, then reset it, then try again-and repeat.

Totally blows out the velop system i used to have. I have bad connections no signal strength before now I rock!

I was replacing my old belkin router and needed something that would cover my whole house. The Best Buy rep recommended the Linksys router and I am very pleased with the product.

I'm a Linksys fan, and I've become a Linksys fan because of the great work they are doing. Routers used to be a very hard thing to understand, program, etc. Linksys has made those difficult chores something of the past. This latest iteration of router shows the advancements they have made. This router will give you amazing speed, with an easy setup, and unmatched reliability. As for the installation, you open the box. Plug it into your internet connection and an AC power outlet, download the app, connect to it in WIFI, put in the password on the bottom of the router, and you are all set. The app walks you through the rest. I had the router set up in a matter of minutes. Seriously. I've done setups on their app before, but this is so automated it literally walks you through each step without any gray areas. A novice person can set this up. The router itself will provide you with lightning fast speeds, utilizing your full internet connection. I had tested my old router setup and also this one, and there is no comparison. It is about 2x the speed of the last system. The app is laid out to make it easy for anyone to set up a system with the step by step instruction. It just works. It shows you what is connected to the router. Many options, but made with simplicity in mind. The best part? Their standalone velop repeaters will work with this, to expand signal even further. a small white box that plugs into your AC power outlet. All of this can be monitored via the app to see what devices are connected to which unit. As for range, this thing is a workhorse, a fast workhorse. It worked vey well, out into the street and even down the street. First time I have gotten that kind of raw power from a router, that it would get me that far!!! If you like to upgrade your slow routers, this is a great choice. Lots of devices (over 25 or them) and every single one of them connect to this router, all sharing the router doing streaming of shows, streaming music, lots of internet browsing with email, and even schoolwork online. No lag, no hiccups, just solid workhorse performance. The best part? This is compatible with the Velop system. You can use Velop range extenders with this and keep an eye on them in the app, to be sure they don't "go missing", which could be my kids pulling the, out of the outlet so they can use the outlet for something else. I can go plug back in the missing unit. Great job Linksys! Always a great job, making it a win/win.

Very easy to setup. No problems what so ever. It actually fixed my problem with wireless printing.

Easiest router that I have ever setup before. App is great to check settings, though some advanced features may be difficult to find.
