Solved all my WIFI issues I had with IPhones. I use it for security cameras and other home devices without any issues. Our IPhones would not work if we were not in the same room however all other devices would after we installed this router all of our devices work flawlessly.

I replaced a TPLink router and this one blows it out of the water. The TPLink didn’t cover the other end of the house very well so I had to purchase a repeater. I don’t need anything else with the Linksys!! It is strong enough to support many devices with no issues.

Great product. I have not had an interruption of service since it was installed. No unplugging and plugging in again. Fast response on all connections throughout the house - 2500 square feet.

I live in a small 1000 square foot condo with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I was told by a salesman that this router would be perfect for the size of my condo. I do have connectivity issues sometimes, but it could be due to the area that I live.

Works great, fast speed and like the Linksys app where I get to check the speed availability for uploading or downloading. Check devices connected. It’s a good application.

Good WiFi router does a good job. I was having alot of loss internet connection. So I decided to purchase a new router. Since I bought this router my internet connection is very good now. I would definitely purchase this brand again.

Just what I needed. I was having issues with signal dropping when realized my router was well over 10 years old. I researched for exactly I needed. I couldn’t be happier with router. I then needed a new modem lol

This is my second Linksys Mesh capable router that I have had the opportunity to review and I am in love. Not too long ago you needed intermediate to advanced networking knowledge to properly set up a new router, let alone a network of routers if you wanted to completely blanket your home with wifi, which is pretty much a standard utility anymore. But gone are the days of calling 192.168.1.1 home. We have capable apps that do all of the work for us in a very simplistic fashion that even the most novice user could feel comfortable with. Pair that with the even more capable hardware that Linksys is supplying in their Mesh systems and in minutes you can have all of the internet speed that you pay your provider for. Amazing hardware and user friendly features aside, I think my favorite feature of this router is that its a budget friendly cornerstone that is very capable by itself, but it allows you to add on nodes at a later date as your budget allows in order to maximize your internet access in corners of your home or even outdoor living spaces that are hard to reach with traditional router set ups. With this review, I was also supplied with one of Linksys Velop's plug in nodes to pair with the MR8300. It is the same node that is supplied with some of the other Velop Mesh systems offered, but it appears that this node will be offered by itself now. After setting everything in place and completing the brief set up process, I began to test this system side-by-side with a modem/router combo that was previously handling the internet duties. No matter where I was in the home, the results were noticeably better with the Linksys MR8300. The rated ISP speed in the package currently paid for in the home is 100 mbps download. With the old combo hardware, I was getting 70 mbps standing next to the old system and struggled to get 30 mbps 3 rooms away on the same level. Now with the Linksys MR8300 and plug in node, I was getting results of over 110 mbps anywhere in the home and 45 mbps standing across the street at the neighbor's house! If it wasn't so cold outside, I would have kept going to see how far this system would still provide reliable signal. But I have no doubt that this router and/or Mesh system will solve any internet coverage issues that you have. This is the future of home wifi and for good reason!

We purchased this router on 12/5 and it immediately strengthened out bandwidth in our 2,100 sq. ft. house. Previously we were using the router supplied by our satellite company, what a difference. Very easy to install and to expand upon.

Good wi-fi range, especially if you pair it with additional linksys velop mesh units. Setup is a bit confusing and slow thru the smartphone app. I prefer manual web based setup, which is an option, but I had search the Internet on how to get in, what the URL and admin password was.

Worked until yesterday, and did a better job at managing 20+ connected devices than the nighthawk it replaced, which needed to be rebooted daily. Now it is unable to connect to the cable modem, which I validated is working by connecting to directly. Like many routers now, it pushes using a smartphone app over a browser for admin. It does eventually, begrudgingly present a browser admin that does everything the app does. This is an improvement from netgear's latest generation. It does not provide any usage meters at router or connected device level. This is another disappointment. It showed promise, but ultimately fell short.

My Modem/Router died after 10 Years of service (a great run) I got a new Modem and decided not to get the all in one this time. The Linksys - AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 5 Router was easy to install and integrate with the Modem. I love the App, you can do some cool things. Defiantly a Great Upgrade.

Needed Triband router, excellent range of service.

I have always bought Netgear routers. Haven’t had luck with the latest versions. I decided to go with Linksys and very happy that I did. Much more dependable with less drop outs. Also has a nice app that works very well.

Bought this router as a replacement to an Xfinity supplied modem/router and it greatly increased my browsing speed and download speed on all my wireless devices. The Linksys app is cool and shows you how many devices are connected and you can check your internet speed.

I ended up returning this router, not because of any flaws or problems. I decided to wait to upgrade because the new wifi version 802.11ax will have much better throughput as well as the ability to send and receive simulationsly through different channels.

For a family of four I think this router is good! My wife does all her work online, my son is always on his video games, my daughter love her iPad and I’m always streaming movies or live sports. Sometimes I have to reset the router but other than that it’s good for price tag.

I bought this router and an associated mesh system and now I can finally get WiFi throughout my whole house and into my back office area downstairs that is through 4 walls, 2 of which are 8" cement block walls plus insulation.

Nice router was recommended by the Best Buy employee so I tried it and have not been disappointed. I was especially impressed with the app it has parental controls that allow you to block users and set up schedules to block users which comes in handy for the kids

So far...so good. We had issues with 2 routers we purchased from another manufacturer, (had to return) so it was suggested that we try this one. Hoping we will continue to receive good results from this purchase.
